What superstitions did you use during the game?

Had my tshirt on during the first half, starting feeling nauseas and suffocated, so I took it off and the Lakers made a run. Didn't put it back on.

Switched from computer chair to couch when things started to get out of hand. Then we came back and I stayed there.

Had my keyboard in my lap when Kobe missed the first free throw in the 3rd. Placed it back on the computer desk and he made all but one of his last several.

i had on my Gold Pau Gasol jersey, with an Inside-Out white t underneath.

Shower and shave and clean the Kitchen just before tip-off... Don't watch the pregame or the halftime show...

Sit in the same chair... Move to the ottoman after half-time... Stand for the last 5 min. (not really a superstition, just the way it works out.)

Wear a Lakers hat my daughter gave me.

Kick everyone else out of the room. (Tonight, my daughter watched the first half with me... Not so good. :-)

Then my wife watched until the end of the 3rd.)

didnt watch the game at my cousins house....im 0-6 there in big games...(x-mas vs heat and celtics, okc playoffs, etc)

won game 6 at a friends house, so decided to stay there for game 7.

I hadn't worn my Kobe jersey since he requested a trade, not that I didn't understand where he was coming from at the time, but as a life long Laker and Kobe fan I couldn't help but feel hurt. So, I decided to retire my Kobe jersey for a while. Of course, as we all know though, everything turned out great in the end in this situation. But at that point I had just grown out of the whole jersey phase.

But, I decided to bust out my old jersey for game 3. We won that game of course. I again decided to wear it for game 6, another win. I nearly forgot to wear it game 7, put it on after half time when we were down pretty big, and we turned it around and won that game.

So basically, what I'm saying is that not only am I responsible for the comeback tonight, but also for wins in game 3 and 6. I'm pretty sure this makes me deserving of a ring, and possibly even a share of the MVP trophy.

I was goin to wear a black tshirt with the lakers logo on it, this morning for school...but I decided not to go for it...we all know black = bad luck

i never use a lakers jersey on the day of a big game like this
but i do use a lakers socks, every game on the playoffs, no matter how dirty it is lol

Had my lucky bracelet and Kobe jersey on. Then went out to watch the game with my friend over dinner. I went out with him for dinner and the game last year too when we won the ring at game 5.

Game Day:
1. Wrote "confidence" on my hand at work, to keep me from freaking out during the game

2. Took picture of this banner hanging on a building. Says "Our Town, Our Team, Our Time, Artest"
How freaking fitting is that!

3. Counted Laker flags that passed me on my drive home... saying that's how many they'd win by. Counted 3. A 4th passed by going the ohter direction but I didn't count it. Should have

4. Couldn't sit still during 3rd and 4th. Cleaned the entire living room and kitchen (in view of TV). Giant bonus points from the Mrs.

5. Put on lucky shirt for the 4th. Same one from game 1 and 3.

then just paced and paced, jumped when guys started hitting shots, screamed at Sasha to earn his 5 mil with those two freethrows, and then celebrated with the wife and kids.

Haven't cut my left hand finger nails or toe nails since the playoffs began (a few have broken naturally). Family is excited the playoffs are over and I can clean up that isht.

in canada, the abc feed was shown on two channels : tsn and cbc.

Since the phx series, Ive noticed that whenever i watched it on cbc, the lakers lose. I even tested out my hypothesis for the last few games and tried watchnig it on cbc (sorry guys, but it was hd!!).

but in game 6 and 7 I didnt want to risk it, so i stayed with tsn. and lakers won =).

I watched the game at my place and it was a crowd with a mix of both lakers and celtics fans. i had to wrestle this guy throughout half of the first quarter to get it back on tsn. (it was a mix of cbc,tsn,cbc,tsn, which probably screwed up Lakers flow of the game in the beginning. Once again, I apologize). After winning the fight, i had to take out all the batteries from my remote and hid them in my house.

I am glad I did.

Don't hate on me guys, but my lucky Laker jersey is faded and worn out, its away and its #34, yes I know Its Shaq, but that Jersey I wore every game we won in this Boston series, so I had to wear it for Game 7, but after Kobe shot 6-24, I think I'll get a new Jersey now

My brother was holding this cross w/ Jesus on it for the whole 4 quarter. I stayed in my slacks & dress shoes in the 2nd half cuz when i took 'em off in the 1st half, Boston created that lead. Man its crazy how we all have these superstitions. GO LAKERS!

I have worn the same T-Shirt every game ( 1 loss) It was also cleaned each time.

Same Laker Gold hat and I do some various head tapping, pointing that I have been doing for about 20 years.

Eat the same thing in all of the finals ( lunch)

Fist bump my Magic Jersey I had hanging on the wall for the entire playoffs.

and I don't watch the pregame and I don't call, take calls or text during the games.

... it's all stupid , but I will take it!
