Personally i think Hinrich would be the number 1 candidate obviously, but it safe to say that we aint getting him.
With that being said steve blake has earn my vote and has shown to play tenacious defense when motivated, with kobe and ron he wont have any choice. he could hit the occasional three and how he played with the clipps theres no doubt he'll hit everybody in their sweet spots on a consistent bases...

I agree that Blake would be a great fit. He is a selfless player with a high BB IQ and can play, PG, SG, or even the off-guard specialist role. He is a very good partner to a ball-dominate type SG, like Kobe; he has successfully partnered with Roy and even AI, who all command the ball. He went to the playoffs with both those teammates.

Blake shot nearly 43% 3ptrs with the Clips, so you'll get more than an "occasional" 3. He is also a very good passer with one of the most consistently high assist-to ratios; so, he takes good care of the ball. He rarely goes to the basket, though - he generally prefers to roam the perimeter.

He's a tenacious defender and good help defender, but has a tough time with small, fast guards like Brooks or Robinson. He's also not quite quick enough to stay with someone like Parker or Rondo. But, not many other PGs can guard these guys either without some help defense from teammates.

Nate is the LAST thing we need. Maybe as a sixth man, firepower off the bench? Sure. Starting PG? God no.

Bulls guard, way to expensive. Blake. Who knows. Nate. He would be OK, at lease he is young. I do not see celts letting him go.

As much as I like Blake, he's a bit old. I only mention this because if we pick him up, and even if he starts, we'll be having this conversation again in 2-3 years. I'd like to see us get a young point guard. My preference is Collison, but that isn't likely.

Still, never say never....

Sergio was never very effective in the NBA and is a very poor defender.

I believe he has already signed with a Euro team back in Spain.

We have Crittenton, he's on our summer league team. I hope he does well because he's got talent and I'd like to have him on the team.
I'd still also like to keep DFish. Not sure about Shannon and Farmar, trade them both as far as I'm concerned.

Personally of all the PG's available I prefer Ridnour. Dude's a baller.

Livingston would be a great fit for the Lakers, except for the fact that his knee practically exploded. He should be an after thought for the PG spot, not the main focus.

which is amazing consdering many dont want farmar or brown back. cause those guys can at least shoot the rock better than livingston.

and in the tri, movement to an open spot, then hitting the open man (which might be livingston), will have everyone clammoring on this board next year saying what phil jackson said about artest . . . "dont pass it to him, dont even pass him the ball"

No disrespect dcash but you must not have been watching the wizards play. I've seen a couple of games on him since he's been back in the league and his jumpshot is very good. It looks like he has gotting over that bad knee injury he suffered with the clipper. He actually looks better now than when he played for the clippers. I think he would be a perfect fit for us next season.
