per wiretap.i really wanted him,but all the stuff I've read that you guys used to say about him, like him being selfish and all that....i never got that from him, until now, reading his comments. "I want to be mentioned as the guy that people want to center their team around".i didn't have a problem with that."I have to have that confidence in myself, and I want people to know that, because I'm not somebody that helps out".this is what i had a problem with.so he doesn't want to be a role player, bye bye him to the lakers then.

Toronto already tried building around him, and how did that work out? He's exactly like Gasol -- good enough to be a critical contributor on a championship team, but definitely not a franchise player.

I think Gasol is one of the few bigs that could be a franchise player...

And honestly, Toronto did a fairly decent job building around him - he couldn't carry them though so I agree with you on the first part.

Nope. Memphis tried that, and they got swept three straight years. There's only probably seven or eight guys that truly fit that description.

Can this Bosh talk stop its not gonna happen the Lakers just won the championship why would they make such a huge move. And another thing every analyst i've heard say Pau is more comfortable at PF not C where he'll be forced to move if we trade Bynum so I dont see how this move helps Pau or the Lakers.

How would you do on a team that was

Damon Stoudamire/Chucky Atkins/Kyle Lowry
Dahntay Jones/ Eddie Jones (old)
Mike Miller/Rudy Gay (rookie)
Stro Swift/WarrickBrian Cardinal
Pau/Jake Tsakalidis?

I don't think Bosh can be "the man". Bosh just isn't that type of player. He would be much better suited as a second option in this league. He would be one of the elite 2nd options in this league much like Gasol. Even with Kobe nobody really says Pau Gasol isn't the man and what not. That is really never brought up in the media. I view Kobe and Pau as pretty much equals. I don't think the Lakers would have made 3 straight NBA Finals without Pau Gasol. He is just as important to this team is Kobe. There is a reason why the general board went crazy at the start of the playoffs saying Pau Gasol is the Lakers MVP. Bosh needs to have this kind of a mentality. If he has that he will be on the right path to being a winner.

I'm one of those who would trade Bynum not because I dont like what he brings, he's just to injury prone for my taste and its not gona change cause know he is gettin the the kind of injuries just from running down the court as oppose to previous years where it was caused by odom/kobe. Its only gona get worse but then again I dont want Bosh here either

Bosh = A little bit poorer Pau Gasol. We need a banger, not a second Pau.

Bosh sucks I don't want him anywhere near purple and gold next year lol he thinks he's a max player , if we trade Bynum for Rupaul then there goes the 3peat I want to ask people that think it's a good trade what does Bsh bring? he is just a scorer people say he's a good rebounder but Bargnani is a horrible rebounder so his numbers are inflated, we lose interior defense for more offense no thanks BYNUM STAYS!

Win at least a game or two, instead of going 0 for 12. Pau had his chance to be The Man, and he's proven to be a much, much better fit as No. 2. Anything more is a major stretch of his mentality and ability. Same thing with Bosh.

They had Battier/J Will/posey in solid role playing options for a season when they went 0-4 in the 1st round (to Spurs?) I guess.

REALLY WOW! Poor Pau I forgot. How did they even make it to the playoffs?! Jeesh! I don't even think Kobe could have won with that team.

Even with that lineup you have no excuse not to win one home game in three visits to the playoffs

Bosh is not a poorer Gasol and Bosh can bang.

Btw, Raps did an awful job building around Bosh.

You guys don't deserve more big time deals. Chris Bosh should sign with Lebron or Wade and beat you guys next year in the finals. As a true basketball fan, get sick of seeing the same teams win Lakers,Spurs,Celtics. Besides it would have been a great deal for sign n trade with Bynum but with his health no way Toronto should do that. He hasn't been able to put together a full year. I'd say Toronto should sign n trade with Chicago for a package around Luol Deng and then sign Lebron or Wade.

Deserve has nothing to do with it. So no giant FA should sign with the Lakers because we have been too successful. You sound like a commie to me (just kidding), however by your logic either D-Wade/LBJ/Bosh will be a Clipper...because they "deserve" it because their owner is the worst in sports. Success begets success...failure begets failure. About your other point dealing with Bosh to Chicago, you should really be more specific, as he does fit in Chicago however I don't think the Raptors want Deng without giving up Hedo & getting Noah. You need to elaborate more.
