That was good, but soccer is still a great bore, except for a few breif moments, they should make the goal twice the size in soccer and hockey, help the sport out a bit. No thanks required. :)

I see a lot of Americans root for Germany/Brasil etc.., which is a shame when your home country is playing in the world cup. Heck I've been here 3 years and I find myself rooting for USA.

it doesn't mean that I can't appreciate other teams. I root for Brazil, Germany, Argentina, and sometimes Italy because I like their style. just like when I root for the Spurs or even Boston, but with that said Priority number one is the USA and the Lakers.

I understand that but my friend's bro sulked for an entire day when Germany lost and he roots for them because German was his elective in high school.

Soccer is like 20th in popularity in the US. No one cares about it and when we loose, it will be over. So all the little kids want to play, but when they get to junior high. It is baseball, football, basketball. Sports that Americans want to go and watch there kids in. Not 2 hours of 0-0 tie. The other day. South Africa wins but they are eliminated. What stupid sport is it that a win gets you bumped out of the thing. A few more weeks and then this thing is gone for 4 more years. Bye and do not come back.
