I think it's become clear the Lakers are going to have a lackluster offseason.

Don't forget about Blake, Ridnour, and Watson, all of which appear to be on our radar...

Crazy, keep hope man, no one knows shi*, all rumor and innuendo. Enjoy the ride, this is going to the most exciting off season ever in the NBA, as far as us, we'll be better next year I promise. We lost Farmar and Shannon right, no big woop, good things are a comin'.
Think about all the other 29 teams all wrapped up in uncertainty, we only need a few pieces to be complete, piece of cake, trust me.

.
Soon you'll be saying Lakers 2010-2011 ? Championship!

Players like to shop themselves. Might be the only time they will ever do it. It is good to get a number that seems fair. 5 million to Farmar seems to high. but who knows.

I think Ray Allen, despite his bad play in the Finals, is still above the MLE territory.

Bell & Pargo
Miller & Blake
Tmac & Foye
I'd even do Wafer & Nate... eww....
Lotta serviceable components in that list... Let's go Mitch!
Sign the best two from this list, bring back DJ and Fish, sign the two rookies, and its a good offseason.
!*******! / Fisher /(Vujacic)
Kobe / ******* / Vujacic
Artest / Ebanks / Walton
Pau / LO / Caracter
Bynum / DJ / (Pau)
Replacements:
Farmer: incoming.
Shannon: incoming shooter.
Powell: more skilled and meaner Caracter.
Morrison: a solid defender and more athleticism in Ebanks
we actually get better as a team...

randy foye? he can play both guard positions, decent jump shot, more polished than brown and could easily replace farmar ( not rly much of a diff.) or would you rather have blake or bell?

I wonder about him, defensively, but I like his potential.

i donno i dont think his defense could be much worst than brown's and farmar's....and i mean on the lakers you always have room to grow and get some heart and hustle in your tank....i think he would be a good fit, maybe not better than blake, but he's younger and has more potential..... and can play both positions

We need to replace both guards and Foye should be in the mix with Blake and Livingston. The Kobe veto will keep Raja Bell off of the team. Don't understand the fascination for Earl Watson or Ridnour.

I feel like Foye is our best option other than Felton. But Felton would cost the full MLE which we are not interested in spending, so other than add another 30 year old in Blake I say sign and trade for Foye using Sasha's expiring, and partial MLE on T-mac (low risk very high reward) and if our FO would swing something for a kwame brown or Josh Boone or simply keep Mbenga, we can call it a summer "ebanks and crittenton on the bench"

I have actually liked him for a little while now, and his defense can't be much worse then browns. He can play both positions for us... think its possible to bring both him + blake in while resigning fish?
