Steve Blake VS Luke Ridnour

Who would you want on the lakers between these two guys. I preferred Ridnour because he is younger and I believe he has very high basketball IQ. I think ridnour would have been able to learn the triangle offense like Gasol did. Overall I think we could have got Ridnour for the same price and he would have been a better addition than Blake.

I haven't seen Ridnour a lot. I think he's more talented playmaking-wise, but it doesn't matter that much for the Lakers. I think Blake has a chance to be a better defensive player. So I take Blake.
I thought Randy Foye is worth giving him a chance just to make regular season more interesting(it's always more interesting when you have some young guns capable to explode, not just savvy veterans for the playoffs). The only young guy we have capable to explode is Bynum. We could have 1 more guy with some kind of "upside" in the Lakers system.

Ridnour is a better starter on any NBA team than Blake. I think Blake is more solid on D. Ridnour would have been nice.

I even picked Ridnour to replace Fish as a starter on my Lakers NBA 2K10 team. So far he seems to have worked out HA!

Ridnour is garbage. Blake is a better defender and better shooter and fits the Lakers need MUCH better than Ridnour does.

Ridnour is the better playmaker, but Blake is the better 3 point shooter. We run the triangle right? I think Blake will fit in easier, we don't run a conventional, princeton offense or any of that crap that most teams run.

well..since i follow the bucks (beause of brandon jennings)...Ridnour is not garbage

I was thrilled to get Blake. He has a nasty streak that will come in handy in LA. He's a better shooter and defender, but Ridnour, IMHO, is the better floor leader. Considering we have Kobe, Fish and Lamar to handle the ball, we didn't need Ridnour as much.

We already had Luke Ridnour. His name was Jordan Farmar.

Farmar is a selfish low IQ player with athleticism, Ridnour is the complete opposite.
