Where do you think Bynum ranks among centers when healthy?
Here is my Top 5 list for Centers in the league....(when healthy)
1. Yao
2. Dwight
3. Bynum
4. Bogut
5. Kaman
I don't consider Duncan a center, so don't talk about that.

i agree with the top 4, i'd probably take several centers over kaman though. lopez, horford, noah. if the "when healthy" applies to everyone, i'd take oden at #4 and slide bogut to 5.

How would you order your centers from 1-5 though? I'm curious about #1 and #2 when healthy.

bynum does seem to get the better of amare when they play head to head. idk those two are very close and may be equal. I think bynum will definitely become better than amare very soon, maybe this season. I'm excited to see a healthy bynum be the starter for the west for sure since amare is headed to new york!

If healthy and based on future potential, I'd only put Howard above Bynum.
Yao has been a disappointment to me. Yes, he has had a lot of health issues, but I just don't feel he has dominated games like he should. I believe someone on this site described him well years ago - he's like an asian Lamar Odom - great talent and potential, but is inconsistent and doesn't dominate often enough.

Assuming all Centers are healthy.
Yao
Dwight
Bynum
Heat fans can rejoice for now that they got a Wade and Bosh duo but Bynum will be the reason why that duo doesn't stop the Lakers. I'm not giving up on the big fella.

I lol at people who put Yao above Dwight.... Yao has led his team out of the first round once... Dwight has led his team to the Finals... Dwight is the better defender, rebounder and shot blocker. Yao is better offensively but Dwight still gives you 20 ppg on league leading fg% and a better TS%...
Dwight is able to play more minutes and ACTUALLY DOES play 82 games a year as opposed to this hypothetically healthy Yao

Too bad Dwight plays in the East, has better teammates and doesn't face elite bigs like Yao usually does. I've read your posts and you know nothing, so If I'm not going to take you seriously then, I don't know why I should take you seriously now.

Dwight has never played with a teammate as good as 05-08 Tracy McGrady.
Dwight has gone through a 66 win Cleveland team that was better than any team Yao has lost to in the first round.
Dwight has lead his team to back to back 59 win seasons while also being first team all NBA and DPOY, Yao hasnt come close to matching any of that even when he was healthy.

He beat Anderson Varejao and Big Z, Congrats to him.

Yao is better than Dwight when healthy, you have nothing for me and it remains so.

You have nothing for me either.
Yao is never healthy, and even if he is he will never be the 25 and 10 he once was (for 48 games one season)

dwights like a glorified marcus camby.
yao actually has an offensive game. no contest here. If yao is healthy, hes better than dwight.
hell id even put bynum over dwight (assuming bynum is finally healthy and in his 'rhythm')
