Biggest losers from tonight

Cleveland: feel in some ways for the city. To lose the greatest icon of the state not only hurts emotionally, but big time financially. The Cavs will have a tough time recovering... maybe Scott can draw Chris Paul, but doubtful... The Cavs will be an after thought. And Lebron's The Decision Show just stabbed the fans and poured salt into the wound.

Byron Scott: Wish you waited a year for Jackson to move on...

New Jersey: Now Travis Outlaw is your big time FA... even Cuban knows money cannot buy rings.

New York: Swap out Lee for Amare who plays no defense and needs a pg... Lee GS will help, but not make a huge difference, should of picked up Al Jefferson. But the big three in Miami being successful might land NY Carmelo if he fears staying in Denver will not lead to a ring.

Chicago... Though Boozer is a nice add, and I think they could be top 4 in east this year.

Doc rivers: no Perkins until December, plus aging core means he came back to get kicked out of the playoffs. They might not even be top 4 seed.

Clevland may never be a playoff team again. :lol:

I do feel for them, this is a huge hit, I kobe would have left we would have been feeling as they are now.

Lebron went to the place that was the smartest move to win, and showed he's not all about money like most of the guys in this years free agency gold mine.

With that all said, it's going to be great beating the dream teamers, :lol:

Heck, they may not get past Boston, who will still be credible in the East.

I feel sorry for no one but our own fan base cause they sure as well wouldn't have felt sorry for us had Kobe signed elswhere

celtics. not only are they on a decline, they will not recover facing a team such as this. their defensive talen wont make a difference without their defensive coach.

Actually the Bulls are in the best shape.Signed Boozer to 5 yrs 75 mil and stll have 20 mil left to spend.And they took Thibideau.

Cleveland, period. They have no real pieces to lead the team, and worst of all..... NO SIGN AND TRADE! They're way over the cap to my knowledge, all because they did whatever LeBron wanted. The guy gutted his hometown team more than just leaving. I don't think they'll be as bad as they were back in the day, but it's not a good start. This probably sets them back a few years once they weed out all of LeBron's whipping boys from the roster.

Cleveland, hands down.

You've got a perennial MVP candidate who grows up 20 minutes from town, that you were lucky enough to be bad enough and lucky enough to have the top pick when he's entering the draft. He actually manages to exceed expectations, leading you to the cusp of greatness while establishing himself as arguably the best player in the world. Multiple championships are a foregone conclusion.

Then, in the blink of an eye, it's all gone.

In a city that knows all about getting its nuts stomped on sports-wise, this is the absolute worst.

Wow. What an evisceration. And he's 100% correct.

It's one thing to leave; but to leave the way he did, stringing the team along for years, culminating in this last week of unadulterated ego rampage, was pretty disgusting.

I honestly don't think he gets it. He's going to be hated not only in Cleveland, but the other franchises he toyed with -- New York, Chicago. Maybe he doesn't care. But I think he's going to be genuinely shocked at the amount of vitriol he receives.

As a knick fan, I hoped he was coming to NY but suspected he wasn't. Still, he really irritated me with the way he acted.

There have been a lot of big name franchise players in league history who considered leaving their team, just this month Wade did, yet none of them behaved like this much of an egomaniac. Even Shaq, if his agent suggested he act like this, would probably have said "that's far too immature for Shaq."

Joe Johnson just went into a free agency with Lebron, Wade, Bosh and Amare and came out the richest man. :lol:

for noticing this. Joe Johnson must be laughing his ass off on the couch. I'd hold a press conference called "The Decision Maker" and mock every other player in the league.

Didn't lose much on money, he'll more than make up for it in endorsements in a larger market, and he doesn't have state taxes also saves him.

As far as his legacy, if he rips off 6-7 in a row, I'd say his legacy will be pretty good.
