I think the Lakers should sign these guys up and bring them off the bench during the season. Especially McGrady and hope he becomes like 75%. If you guys face Miami Heat in the finals, Kobe is going to need some help against the 'real big 3'. What do you guys think?

TMac won't go to Miami if the Lakers can offer just as much. TMac never liked Lebron and Wade.

we could actually get both, for the minimum if they wanted.

i know Iverson would sign for the minimum, since he did with Memphis and Philly last season. T-Mac might want more, and we have about 1.8 million left from the MLE if he takes it.

i think at this point we really need tmac on our team with mike miller going to heat in all, and now shaq. there you have your starting five

steve blake doesnt look as sexy a signing now that miller is off to the heat for the same price as we offered him

even thou iverson is a headcase ... i do believe that we need his skills at the PG spot....

t-mac depending on how his health holds up is a maybe... but again they will be coming into a team that has already established it's chemistry so i wouldn't want to disrupt that

but in signing tmac and iverson will keep them from going to the heat...

cmon ron start your recruiting process get tmac down here

Brah T Mac will play in LA if we offered him a bag of chips. HE WANT TO BE IN LA and I think this opens the door for him.

Iverson deserves a ring he actually took a team by himself literally to the finals against us but we had to destroy them lool, I don't know if there egos will allow them to become role players if they can accept coming off the bench then get it done MITCH!

If they are both going to be healthy. well Id slightly lean more to T-mac since Iverson is more "ball dominant" than T-mac even though they both needed the ball to score since they werent great-good consitent knockdown shooters.

The Heat will have 1000 players at there doors soon. All want to play there. Why even play the season. When do we get a break from all this. Enough already.

I doubt Iverson would cause trouble on Kobe Bryant's team. Too much respect there imo. He didn't even cause trouble in Denver.

bottom line is miller was never coming to the lakers. he was always going to go where ever lebron went. miller is lebron's boy. jumping on blake quickly was the right move for us, we needed additional pg depth.

i agree that we need more firepower, another big and a pure shooter off the bench. hopefully mitch gets it done.

Yeah I think he's done as a starter. I still think he can thrive in that supersub scorer role though.

Lakers already have enough to beat anybody. That much talent, albeit over the hill talent, can be scary.
