At this time we have 8 players under contract and the 2 draft picks Ebanks and Caracter. Personally I think Fisher is staying with us so thats 11 players. If Brown stays thats our roster. Can we three-peat with that roster or do we tweak it? I watched both of our summer league games so far and as a fan I liked what I seen out of Ebanks and Caracter. Strawberry has also played good. There are many rumors out there Matt Barnes, T-Mac and the Sasha & Luke or S&T Brown & Sasha for Turkoglu. So what do you guys think our 12 man roster will be? Here is mine....
Starters stay the same Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Artest and Fisher
Bench LO, Blake, Brown, T-Mac, Turkoglu, Ebanks and Caracter or maybe we can add a vet. center like Kurt Thomas that should beat LeBrick and the frontrunners

the realistic thing to do is just wait it out and see what happens

Lets hope are starting line up is the same and our bench is just odom and blake right now we need sign a vet for vet min like brad miller or kurt thomas and hopfully land turk and sign another player like bell barnes or t-mac and then we will we amazing with a bench of odom blake turk and another good play off the bench and with a bench like that we can own the big 3 for about 4-7 years

As it stands right now, I think it'll play out like this (because of costs):
Fisher/Blake
Bryant/???/Vujacic
Artest/Ebanks/Walton
Gasol/Odom/Caracter
Bynum/???

Only need a C and possibly a combo guard.
Brown is reportedly not being looked at returning so that spot is the biggest toss up. Could be T-mac be like so many people seem to want or it could just be someone out of the summer league.

Its funny you say that being you had a post called future pointguard congrats on getting that right by the way

I hope we get McGrady and maybe a Kurt Thomas or even Kwame Brown... And of course, keep Fisher

If this is the team we actually would get worst instead of better I agree this is realistic specially if Dr. Buss doesnt want to spent any more $$ but that means you basically just traded Brown & Farmar for Blake

Why everyone wants Kwame back ? He'll remind me of those difficult times when he was in LA.

Would love to get players on the bench who are not 35 and are ring chashers. Shannon Brown is what we need. Youth and athletic type. People want to remember Tmac in his glory days. He has missed about a year of action with bad knees and other things. We can not afford a player who will miss a ton of time. Plus we can not afford him at whatever he wants. I hope he would play for the lle. That is asking just a little to much I think.

I wouldn't mind T-mac, but I'm not sure if Iverson could play in the triangle or want to play off the bench without complaining. I'd rather just give the 3rd string spot to Javaris Crittenton.
