4 Landry Fields
5 Bill Walker
55 Eric Boateng
41 Warren Carter
23 Toney Douglas

35 Charles Garcia
17 Ron Howard
44 Jerome Jordan
11 Marcus Landry
40 Leo Lyons
45 Carlos Powell
20 Andy Rautins
25 Ryan Wittman

Things to Watch for:

Devin Ebanks: With his mid-range jump shot proving to be money, can he keep scoring at such great efficiency? Will he start crashing the boards on both offense and defense? Can Ebanks keep up with Toney Douglas and Andy Rautins on the defensive end?

Derrick Caracter: Will his scoring be affected by the height of the Knicks? How will he rebound against two 7 footers in Jerome Jordan and Chris Hunter?

Ibrahim Jaaber: After a game of being pushed around by Lawson, can Jaaber respond with poise and consistency in leading the team for a full game? When the offense stagnates can Jaaber get it flowing again?

DJ Strawberry: After proving his athletic ability and defensive prowess, can he step up and run a more traditional triangle point guard role while continuing to make shots?

Gerald Green: He made some shots last game... can he dribble more than once or run an offensive set?

NBA.com Rookie Rankings:
Devin Ebanks: 1 (Previously 9)
Derrick Caracter: 2 (Previously 3)

Side Note: I won't be able to watch the game, so my analysis will come around 11 PM after I get a chance to watch it.

cant wait to see if Ebanks and Caracter can keep up there solid play. I personally expect Ebanks to continue to play good basketball, i don't really know what to expect from Caracter though.

The Knicks have some BIG size for summer league and some slashers and cutters and atheletes. It will be very interesting watching Ebanks D and Caracter's D/Offense

I was assuming that would be there starting line up by the way - they have like 20 guys on there roster so I picked what I thought was there 4 most important players...

i like ebanks i think hes got what it takes to make the roster...

now with that being said how realistic is it for this kid to start contributing for the world champion lakers. i mean hes looking great out there in summer league but i think hes still has years of experience to be a factor for us, idk just my two cents

no doubt but that just proves that we need tmac or somebody like that to handle the perimeter scoring so kobe doesnt get jacked up come playoffs. after reading the tmac pacers article, and knowing what his price range will be like, it makes me wonder do we have a chance of getting him. And not just that but who do we put on miller if wade and lebron are on the court. i suppose ebanks but will he be up to the task by then, i just dont know

So we get Tmac b/c I proved we need to start building youth? The Heat won't get out of the East this year, so we just need to worry about the Magic/Celtics

I watched the game again, Ebanks is very skilled. He always has defense on his mind, he runs like a gazelle, and he's got a real smooth stroke. He had a 3rd quarter step back shot in ryhthym that was really pretty. Ebanks should have been a first rounder.

You see guys like Evan Turner (1/2) looking average, and Greg Monroe (1/7) looking unmotivated, Mitch had the best 2nd round of the draft according to most analysts.

Caracter might make the squad as well. He doesn't have great hands, but he has an excellent back to the basket game with touch, and has nice energy, and also has a nice outside stroke.

I wasn't as jazzed about Ibraham as you guys were.

Strawberry shot is a little ugly, but he attacks the basket and gets to the stripe.

I'm wondering if Mitch got help from an unpaid scout on Ebanks; My Jerry West, he follows WVU religiously.

I don't know about that. Unless one of the 3 amigos breaks down (particularly Wade) they have every chance of coming out of the East.

im just saying we need cats that can contribute right away off the bench, ebanks is great but to think a rookie is going to help us out come playoffs is stretching it a bit. and bells pretty much a heat already i dont see many more options then getting lucky and landing tmac somehow.

Ebanks was a deffanite steal in the draft!!!! dont want to wear it out but he looks and plays just like Ariza(who i miss dearly by the way haha). I think he can make some contributions next year for us(depending on how much of a chance phil wants to give him). But I see by his second year he becomes a very solid role player for us. Damn i really do like this guys game. I can see him having the equal success that ronny turiaf had for us

Turnover after turnover... the knicks are a much more NBA ready squad. Their length is such a problem for lakers right now. this is a good game for really evaluating these guys...
