i know its a little bit too early, but i wanna know how you guys will stack WCF now.


mine is:

1. Los Angeles Lakers
2. Dallas Mavericks
3. Denver Nuggets
4. Utah Jazz
5. Oklahoma City Thunders
6. Portland Trail Blazers
7. San Antonio Spurs
8. Phoenix Suns


Many are putting Oklahoma City Thunders on Top 3 but i'm not a big fan of that. Also i think Denver Nuggets will have their swagger back since they will be coached again by George Karl. I even think they can get no. 2 spot. Thoughts?

OKC and, to lesser degree, Portland, are going to be way too good to finish 5 and 6. OKC might challenge Dallas/Denver for the number 2 spot, IMO.

idk about thunder being that high. they ranked 8th last season. ranking 5th this year still is an imporvement. but you can flip Utah and Oklahoma into that 4th and 5th spot.

The difference between the 2nd seed and 8th seed was by 5 games this year. There's really now way to predict the exact order. Portland was injured and is still a young team, and the Thunder are also young and improving, so they have a shot to be number 2, along with the Mavs, Nuggets, and possibly Jazz if Jefferson fits well.

If the Jazz trade AK47 and Miles for Hamilton and Prince I would give the number 2 seed

I think Phoneix will be better than last year. I didn't like Stat at all he was a total A$$

Thunder - Durant/Westbrook and their confidence from last playoffs pushes them up way up!

Clippers- Look for the Clippers to make the playoffs with Blake Griffin antsy to change this team around.
Spurs - Soon this team won't make the playoffs, probably 2011-12
Jazz/Suns Suns will suck without Amare,

Lakers will have a big target on there backs. They need to win early and often. Heat might take some of the spot lite of the Lakers. So that could be nice. Every year there is one big threat vs. the Lakers. They will have a few in the east and west this year. Going to be a war.

Thunder and Blazers are interchangeable to me, depending on factors like health and If Oden returns to where he left off before the injury.

dont see any new team making it into the playoffs, Hou will miss it due to Yao health, to those who listed Den as top 3 just cause they got Karl back, Birdman/Kmart will be out early in the season and K-mart could be out till AS break thats big loss. Still see Pho making playoffs maybe higher seed than that, the 3 players they add will make a difference in the regular season.

Some of you are overlooking the Jazz, they did some great things this off-season. I can see them finishing as high as second. Denver may be done, Karl carries them. I can see them finishing near the bottom of the division with their band of idiots.

The Lakers are first no matter what, but then everything esle is up for grabs.

No, nobody is overlooking them. Jefferson is just inferior to Boozer, and by a lot. Jefferson isn't the same player he was we saw two-three years ago. The Torn ACL has clearly affected his game. Jefferson never played defense, and Boozer is an underrated pick n roll defender. So the Jazz lost even more defense if anything. The only thing the Jazz improved in was their rebounding and size.

Jazz got worse in the off-season. Boozer>Big Fail.
