So the mod team is proposing that we get 10-12 participants in an all-time lakers team draft. We'll then get judged on our roster to determine a winner. Some of the details are still getting worked out, but first we want to see who wants to join.

7-14th in Lewes, DE. All I'll have access to on a regular basis is dial up, but my lap top doesn't have a hook-up for that.

If you have a phone with data, just e-mail us the picks and we can make it for you. provided you'll be checking in to see what's going on regularly since we don't want the draft stalling at any time.

Also one more thing to add, when you draft a player, also specify the season you want to draft him for.

Like if you draft Malone you can only do the 2004 season.
but if you draft Shaq, it can be any season from 97 - 04.

So you need to pick a player and mention the year. Like Player: Kobe Season: 2005-06

each player can only be drafted once though right? if thats the case, we should just roll with whatever they did with the lakers in their career imo. open to anything though.

Yeah one player can be picked only once but I'm suggesting that you cannot pick someone like Malone and then expect him to be judged at his prime. So either works.

My idea was that if you picked Kobe of '00 you cannot account for his serious post game but if you picked him in his later years you can treat him as a big threat in post.

Same with Ariza's shooting in 2007-08 compared to his shooting in 08-09. That was my reason behind including the seasons.

When you judge a team, things like post offense and spacing can be serious judging points.
