However, the Sun Sentinel has learned that the Heat will also play Christmas Day at Staples Center against the Los Angeles Lakers, one of two games this coming season against the two-time defending NBA champions

Just one game in a 82 game season. Not going to make a big deal about it. It is at staples and Lakers need to win there home games.

I'd rather it have been the Celtics. A Heat/Lakers meeting doesn't interest me the way a Lakers/Celtics re-match would. That game would have been intense!

A Heat/Lakers match up? Eh. Potential media created rivalry right there. The Heat roster has been created from scratch in no more then 2 months time. Nothing but high profiled names and show coming out of that match up. Boo.
