All-time Lakers Draft Voting - j-far wins!

Posted: Thu Aug 19, 2010 1:33 am
by dockingsched
We recently completed an All time Lakers draft. We now ask the Lakers board community to judge our rosters, ranking their top 5 teams. When completed, we'll have a winner for our contest.

RULES: Rank your top 5 best teams. Your #1 ranked team will receive 5 pts, your #5 team will receive 1 pt.

WHO CAN VOTE? Anyone can vote. People that participated in the draft can vote, just not for themselves. People that didn't participate just vote for your top 5.

WHEN DOES VOTING END? Voting will end Sunday at 9am pacific. Votes will be counted as soon as possible after that. Any vote after that deadline will not count.

WHATS THE CRITERIA? Please vote for the best team, simple as that. Keep in mind that each player on the roster only counts for the season he is listed for.

NEED A HISTORY REMINDER? Here's the LAL franchise index that you can use to give you a refresher on who did what which season.

Not for nuthin and to keep this at the top...

Nick has the 3rd highest assist per game percentage (7.3) in Lakers history after Magic (11.2) and Norm Nixon (7.9). And for that season he averaged 8.4 for the season and 7.3 in the post season.
He also had the highest assist percentage next to Magic in team history.

don't mean to hate on good ol team worthy, but please consider that you only get players based on how they played for the lakers. rodmoan is anything but killer.

Not to forget Drew played like 37 games all season. Same with team Pau. That's Malone on his last legs and Pau playing center.

Hello from the owner of team Paul :)

Number one 1. Malone was still a 20 pts 8reb guy in 2003-2004(that is his stats the year before). But he had to share the ball with Shaq,Kobe and Payton. So yes this was his last season but he was still one of the best PF in the game and a great player.
Number 2. Paul Gasol starts games for the Lakers at a PF but he playes most of his min as a C. Bynum has been injured a lot and if you look at the playoffs the last two season you see Gasol more at C then PF and how has that work????

I dont like when people come and talk bad thinks about teams when people are voting. You can pick your 5 best teams. say good thinks about thoes teams and then you are done.
I think there are some great teams in here and some not so good teams but i am not going to talk bad about teams when there are people voting.
But hey that is just me
