I'm calling it. This is destiny. This is what's waiting for Luke Walton when he retires from the game. Hopefully, Luke will have some healthy seasons left, but I won't hold it against him if he hangs them up anytime soon. Because Luke can then retire and take up a gig with Stu Lance calling Laker games. If needed, just sit in with Joel Myer and Stu Lance for a year or two. They have two ESPN guys and Gruden calling Monday Night Football. Just throw Luke in the mix.

Not to mention Luke has his dad Bill as a reference for having a great career in the broadcasting seat too.

It sucks that Luke's back is hurt and he might not play anytime soon, but I'm definitely looking forward when Luke takes on another career.

Its been awhile since I made a topic.

Luke talks to slow to be a lead announcer, not a chance he's the next chick hearn.

Give him a lot of coffee before games and have Eminem be his voice coach and he'll talk faster.

If Luke ever does any radio or TV, he needs to earn his spot. Work the minors, do some local TV. you just do not step into the big chair without any real past experience.

He's shown potential. You just haven't looked at his career of the court. Take a look at some of these clips.
