Wonder how Melo is going to respond tonight ? Right now he's acting like a bitch, he's ruined the morale in Denver before they even suited up for a real game.

Anyway like you mentioned Big Game.....it's just about getting better. Not so concerned about our shooting like everybody else, cause I know that when it's time to play D we have a team now that's equipped to get stops even when our offense is suck'in.

I've lost all respect for melo as well. But I'll put some blame on the media for that too.

DEEP this is what we are going to see now franchise players will dictate where they go so they can team up with there friends, I wish they knew the meaning of competition it's like a lost art in the NBA just like the mid range shot lol

Pau looks really good and Kobe looks better, but man, I'm really impressed with the bench, especially Barnes and Blake

Really impressed by the two rookies so far. Ebanks looks like an Ariza clone so far with potential to be better.

I like what i am see in this game. Solid game so far.

The o is geting many open shoots and easy baskets
The D is playing good for the most of the game but Denver is geting some open 3.

Trey Johnson deserves a contract.

Why have people lost respect for Melo? Kobe demanded a trade just a few years ago... Actually Melo hasnt even demanded a trade publicly like Kobe did.... I guess the only difference is the Nuggets COULD be a contender (if everything goes right) while the Lakers were an average playoff team at best

Everyone had lost respect for Kobe too, remember he was booed on opening night. The Lakers ended up being better than expected (even before Gasol) and everything was forgiven.

I suspect if Melo's saga takes a similar turn this will all be forgotten.

I dont think anything has directly come out of Melo's mouth that he wants out.... Kobe actually said he wanted to be traded on the radio on Stephen A Smiths show iirc

i can't even remember the last time our squad (especially Kobe and Phil) gave so much props to our rookies... granted this was probably Mitch's best draft thus far.

i enjoyed seeing Ebanks and his hustle plays and put-backs, but i was giving DC a hard time with his post-game and defensive rebounding. i know he's still a rook and its only preseason, but i really have high hopes for this guy.

other than that: kobe is looking better, artest and lamar are still staying consistent, Theo was playin big, barnes and blake played good D (not sure what was up with Blakes shooting though)

Replace Smush for Billups and Nene for Kwame and I doubt Kobe would be bitching people need to realize that Kobe in his prime was with the worst team ever and he wanted to win and didn't feel like LA was headed in the right direction

Agreed......guys can't realize Kobe was playing with a collection of trash. Melo's team is at least decent and if they played smart and got some decent coaching they'd be a real threat. Kobe's teams was nowhere near that.
