Is he inured right now? Or is he just so far down the roster he gets no time? I was thinking of bidding for him in free agency for my keeper leauge (As an Injury list reserve 15th roster guy) but he doesnt seem to be able to get on the court?

Shannon has been on fire and he's going to keep taking Sasha's minutes. Also Blake and Barnes are taking up minutes at back up PG and SF positions so barring an injury or loss of form Sasha should see little to no minutes.

Yea... don't get Sasha. I do think though after last game, Phil said Sasha and Ebanks should finally get some PT. But don't count on it being much, esp if Shannon has a career year (I'm soo hoping for that).

sasha should get some PT against larger backcourts. especially if and when brown can't handle his defensive assignment.

guys's 6'7", he's a role player, he's going to be used as such

the way shannon brown and matt barnes are fitting in, we wont see much of sasha...although i love seeing his pesky defense and pushing the ball on offense, but u gota go with the better unit

pesky is one way to define it but I wouldn't really associate as defense since his man still beats on a regular basis......but like last nite Sasha only gona get PT when its major blow out, Brown at this point is a better all around player and "shooter"

Yeah, who would have thought Shannon Brown would turn out to be a better shooter than Sasha? Don't see a lot of minutes for the soon-to-be "Mr. Sharapova" if everyone stays healthy.

I think Sasha's time being a productive Laker is far behind him.

You say that as if he was once productive :P.

He really went downhill after he gave himself that nickname and he started to ride Kobe's dick.

Agreed. He's had plenty of opportunities to prove that he was worth the money we paid him, and he's simply not produced the results we expected. The guys primary role is to hit shots, and if he can't do that then he's completely useless.

There's probably not much we can do with his contract at this point except let it expire. I'm kind of disappointed that we didn't package him and Farmar for Hinrich last year. That would have been a good deal for both clubs I think.
