OT - 2018 Hall of Fame Class

Post#1 » by KingLakers » Thu Nov 4, 2010 6:24 pm

This really has nothing to do with the current Lakers team but I was just thinking if Shaq, Duncan, Garnett, Kidd, and Nash all retire after next season that would probably create one of the best Hall of Fame classes ever. All these guys have one more yr on their deals after this season. How do you guys think this potential class stacks up against past great Hall of Fame classes. 8 rings, 8 mvps, 6 finals mvps between all of them.

I don't think Duncan or Nash will retire. I believe Shaq has come out and said he would (or at least hinted to it). I don't see Garnett retiring either unless he is battling severe injuries.

A Duncan/Kobe/Shaq HOF Class would be sick.

I hope like HELL Kobe last longer than Shaq!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both are 1st ballot hall of famers. And Shaq is 38.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

2010-2011-2012-2013-2014-2015-2016-2017-2018. That is how many years away 2018 is. Lets play for today and the future will take care of itself.

Big money will keep these players around till they can no longer play. Shaq mght play till 40.

We're only using two calendars now, they threw one out a long time ago.
