According to realgm he's overrated and even to some on this board when he gets his 6th ring he will be in the top 5 no doubt

There will always be naysayers who refuse to give Kobe his due for whatever reason. Lakers fans may be biased at times, but there is no way to deny Bryant's greatness.

And it's still odd to see him wearing #8.

NBA fans want there player to be the player Kobe is. So if they do not get it. Then they hate Kobe. I would say about 70 percent of all fans respect Kobe in some manner. For what he has done for the NBA and basketball world wide. The other small percentage are just in someother place that is not a reality.

Exactly some people may not realize that all the hating they give to Kobe is actually love. They just "love" to hate Kobe. So let them do it because he loves it.

The difference from Bryant and outher players in the NBA is that they are not as DRIVEN as he is. He feels that there is always a way to overcome anything, that is what I love about him. Not to start any fights but I don't see that in Wade, James, Bosh, or Anthony. Paul, Williams, Roy, Durant, Westbrook, Granger, Rondo, Noah, Rose, Love, Beasley (2010 version), Lopez, and Dragić.



I see something special in those players as for James, Wade, Bosh, and Anthony they have alot to prove sure they have the talent but they don't have the will power....

The only person missing from that list is Magic. Can we even imagine where he would've ended up had his career been shortened?

It's just 25,000 points is a lot of baskets.

Nonetheless Magic dropped 17,000 points, over 10,000 assists, and 6,000 boards.
