Didn't this clown say the same thing in Miami, Phoenix and Cleveland? He once told Kobe he was the greatest in the world, he said Wade was the best guard and most special player ever. He said Penny was Fredo, Kobe was Sonny and Dwyane is Michael Dwyane Corleone. In phoenix he said Nash is the best guard ever and then in Cleveland he said something about the Cavs was the most talented team he was ever on. This moron needs a tape in front of him.

Who'd a thunk 9 years ago this cat would be polishing knobs in Boston? I sure didn't. At one point, AT ONE POINT, Shaq was my favorite player in the league. How times change.

^This.......how many times is this record been played ? I think the key thing I caught was him mentioning "shots". This is still an issue with Shaq don't think for one minute it isn't. I'd advise everybody to really dissect those first couple of lines closely. He spoke in a tone of team, but seemed glad nobody is taking a boat load of shots like a teams number one option would normally take.
This ultimately satisfies him, why you ask ?
Because without guys putting up huge numbers, his won't look as dismal and he looks like he needed to that team.
I know at the start of the season everybody talked Lakers/Heat Finals, but it's becoming more and more clear it's going to be a Kobe/Shaq clash. It's still a lot or work to do towards that, but I wanna sock this fool hard when it counts once and for all.

Hard to move on from a player who helped your favorite team three championships, especially with how it was such a girlfriend/boyfriend type breakup ending in a bad way.

These Shaq posts are always hilarious. Who are these Laker fans that hate Shaq? If he said this on LA that it was better than his Orlando NBA Finals team, Laker fans would be justifying it to the death. This is Shaq being Shaq. And yes, it probably is a better team on paper and in the locker room than our laker title days with Shaq. We had a deep veteran team with 2 stars. They have a deep veteran team with several stars. They have already won a title and been to another. The Lakers also won 3 in a deep west but an easy east. If this Boston team was in a similar era and faced teams like the pacers, nets and sixers, they would maybe have 3 rings too (i know, no way to tell but the talent was there).
So yes, it could be his best team. But more importantly, who cares. This years Lakers are better than last years. This year's Celtics are about the same. They added frontcourt depth but lost a fierce wing defender in tony allen. They can be his best team. Who cares. Size up the new lakers, the rest of their ring sizes are on file from the last two in a row.

This is like the initial jump that you take off the diving board, you go straight up and it is impressive and the party guests go wow! then when you land on the diving board to propel your self into the water, the diving board breaks just as the people that know you expected.

the fact that he still keeps comparing his teams with teams past reveals that he has never really gotten over the break-up with the lakers. more than anything he would have wanted to retire a laker legend. he is bitter because of his decline and that kobe is living his dream. he wanted to be the most dominant ever, THE greatest laker of all time and he can't stand how he's been forced to switch teams like a whore. you'll hear him go back and forth about himself and kobe, dwade and lebron until the guy is 80, book it.
