dumbass didn't call him out who would actually say those things and be serious. Artest is awesome though and its funny because he is a former Rocket too.

We just lost four games in a row. I don't care if it was only a minute, now is the time to get serious about winning some ball games and not calling in to the enemy's radio broadcast.
You think Kobe Bryant wants to joke around after last night?

Fail on your behalf. Artest is not Kobe. Not even close. Different personalities. You can't make that comparison. God forbid Artest gives Lakers fans something to smile about after four atrocious performances.

On the one hand, you're right, Ron Ron is not Kobe... Nobody's asking him to be or expects him to be...
On the other hand, if he was Kobe, nobody'd say anything because we would know he could turn it on when it counted so a prank call wouldn't mean a thing...
The problem I see is that last season Ron was loose and confident and FOCUSED (Like Kobe)... This year, he seems even more loose and confident... But not as focused... Like he's still basking in his championship...
Ok, fine... We don't need him to be Kobe... But we all expected him to be more effective this year after a year in the system, and he hasn't.
So no, I don't think this TEAM as a whole needs to tighten up and worry about this stretch... We're just too talented and deep... But Ron individually might-should start taking this a little more seriously and get his focus back a bit more on D.

Kind of hard to take things seriously on the defensive end when our two leaders, Kobe and Fisher, have been our worst defenders. Maybe if they took defense a little more seriously and set a better example everyone else would follow?

Very true... And we have Gasol in the middle...
It actually reminds me of when Artest called out T-Mac for not stepping up on D... I don't think that's going to happen here, but I agree that the intensity has to come from the top down.
It's just easier to give Kobe and Fish a pass because they always find a way to step it up when it counts.

that was hilarious, but wow at times it seemed like Ron was just speaking with his regular voice lol. not very much of an impression, but still funny though.

That's what makes it funny...i just hear ron the whole time, i don't even hear anyone that could be considered argentenian, and yet the guy bought it the whole time. if ron made a good impression it wouldn't be that funny

I read the story on Yahoo. At the end, where the host says 'Luis Scola on a mobile' he is referring to something which used to happen when JVG was the Rockets coach.
Some guy would call in after the game as 'JVG on a mobile' and make humorous commentary. So the host probably though it was a revival of that.
