Kobe about to pass an incredible all-time milestone

Right now, Kobe is 12th all-time in scoring. You might have known that. Kobe is 20 points behind John Havlicek for 11th, you might have known that.

But when Kobe surpasses Hondo, he will have the most points scored by a guy playing with only one team.

Read that again, Kobe will be the All-Time scoring leader for a player who played for a single team his entire career.

Did he end up passing Havlicek tonight or just tying him?

he needed 20, got 23 and passed him

But is it just me, or is it that every time kobe reaches on accomplishment in terms of scoring, whether it is passing some1, or getting 20k or 21k etc.... we end up losing the game.

i rmb last year or 2 years ago we could have set to records. one involved kobe and points, one involved jackson and wins. we ended off losing with kobe getting his record with like 38 points or so

so is Karl Malone exempt because he played one year with the lake show. in my book hes still the leading scorer that played for one team

Yup, Karl didn't play for one single team his whole career, so he doesn't qualify for this.

In other words, it's a meaningless category.

Impressive, passing 10 will be a much cooler milestone however.

Malone scored 35000 with one team this is a milestone! The bigger Question is how far up the ladder will he go I would say 33,000

he is on the pace for 2100-2300 points this season which will gave him his usual 27+5+5+ imo he has one more 27+5+5+ in him after this year.
so in his first two year of his last deal i see him somewhere between 29500-30500 and fifth all time in scoring, after that it s a guess game but my guess would be 33000-34500 line and third spot when his four year contract is done.

Also, Kobe will most likely be the top playoff scorer of all time in two years.

Code: Select all

1.   Michael Jordan        5987
2.   Kareem Abdul-Jabbar   5762
3.   Shaquille O'Neal      5248
4.   Kobe Bryant           5052

and i seriously dont see any kind of competition for that title he will be the top playoff scorer of all time for a long long time.
