MIA Reward System...

Post#1 » by DubaLakers » Wed Dec 15, 2010 9:32 am

Sounds odd and gimmicky, but it seems to be working. Spolstra makes up a reward system: Here doggy fetch, here's a cookie. Here doggy sit, here's a cookie.

The Lakes just implemented AB17 into their lineup, hopefully that does something for the Lakers commitment to defense, or maybe we'll implement something similar... OK Ratliff if you get a block you can be Point/Center on the break. OK Ron if you get a steal you can jack an errant three as soon as you croiss half court. Uggh, maybe not.

Spo is a genius. This probably bought his ass the rest of the regular season. lol

What a stupid system, though. Question - what happens when elite rebounding teams like LA, Boston or whoever have their with them way on the glass? Or when LBJ fails to cover his man?

I can't believe these guys egos are so big that the coaching staff has to resort to this child like system to quench their egos, although brilliant it may, its quite sad.

Pretty much what I thought when I read the article.

The Tri is hard enough to run. Do not need to add anything else. Lakers are in first in the pacific and will be in the playoffs and the only thing they want as a reward is another ring and golden basketball.

I don't understand how some of the NBA's elite get to make millions from a job they absolutely love, paid through endorsements because of the sport they love, collaborate to make an "elite" team to make easy of "multiple championships, live in Miami... and get rewarded to play the right way to check their egos?

The NBA in Miami, where everything gets handed to you for no f****** reason happens.

Not my most coherent post but I'm sure you get the idea.

There's the difference between players like Wade and Lebron vs. Kobe and Jordan. Wade and Lebron need some sort of gimmick to motivate their play. While Kobe and Jordan left it up to themselves to find their own motivation.

Miami continues to give me reasons to hate them. This is disgusting.

Because we hate the Heat, and it's an interesting concept.

What have the Heat done to merit hate? Hating a team is an honor. It means they've done something to hurt your team. I hate the Celtics. They earned that right. I have contempt for the Heat, but hating them just gives them the attention they crave.

Someone mentioned it earlier. Teams that thrive or can operate in the half court set will eat Miami's lunch straight up.

Celtics bigs will absolutely destroy MIA front court. Bosh will get punked through out a series.
Orlando will do about the same to MIA's bigs.

Lakers would force LeBron and Wade to play one on five all series long. And well all know both Artest & Matty Barnes would definitely earn their pay shutting the MIAMI wings down. Thats saying MIA gets through Boston and Orlando FIRST.
