I guess that should make me sympathetic to the Lakers’ rookies, Derrick Caracter and Devin Ebanks, when Phil Jackson was riffing Saturday about their confusion on this long trip. Jackson told stories about how Caracter ordered a $45 pitcher of orange juice for himself the other day and how Ebanks has eaten nothing but cheesesteaks for the past four days.
The Lakers finish the trip Sunday against the

In DC's case it's learning the life of a pro, live and learn.
As for Dev, that's just inexcusable. That's a poor way to eat for a pro player, he keeps that up he'll balloon to out of shape status real quick.

I'm sure practice and training will burn all those calories and then some....I remember Dirk was interviewed and said all he ate were chicken wings when he was a rookie

LoL on D.C paying 45 bucks for orange juice.
An for Devin and his cheesesteaks.
Not the healthiest source for protein but as long as he continues hitting the weights he'll be fine.
LMAO

Don't get me wrong he can grub on anything for now, I'm just say'in. But by 25-28 that needs to change a bit. Hell I lived on chilli fry's and and burgers for most of my 20's, while ball'in at least 4 days out of 7 for hours. Dev will be fine.

I think Kobe confessed as a Youth on the Lakers, he would eat a large pizza while washing it all down with a 2 liter of Grape Soda, before every game.

Pretty sure when he get's in his mid 20's his eating habits will change. Let the guy live a little....Pretty sure Kobe, Jordan all lived a little when they was rookies.. Practice and working out will burn those calories off.
