If you had a good friend in the NBA that did not play for the Lakers, who would you cheer for when the Lakers played your friend's team?

Lakers. Unless it was like mom out there lacing them up, then I might reconsider.

My sister was classmates with Paul Pierce for several years in Highschool. She has never rooted for the celtics ever.
We also have a family friend who was in college with D Williams and Luther Head in fact she dated Luther... She says Dwill is still cool with her. She says she don't talk to Luther anymore but she imagines they are still cool. I mean that is untill he plays against her fav team the Chicago Bulls!

A friend of mine asked me this very question and seemed surprised by my answer. I told him I want the Lakers to win no matter who they are playing, but I hope you have a good game.
He told me that he would pull for me to win against the Rockets. F*** that!

HAHAHA!!!
Yeah if like my kid or my bro or cousin (maybe!) I would. I would want them to have a amazing individual game for sure. But to beat the Lakers I dunno... I am not ready to say that at this point. I guess you have to be there in order to say "Yeah, I hope your team wins".

I'd be like 'Foo, why the hell did you not sign with the Lakers!?' (especially if he was any good

)
And if he was on his rookie contract, I'd be like 'Brah, love you man, but I'll cheer for you in 3 years

)

The only real answer should be to root for the Lakers no matter what, yet hope your friend has a great game (everyone else on the opposing team sucking ass makes it even better).

Yes, court side tix right beside Jack would be the ticket.

This.
I'm not LAL fan, but it doesn't matter in this case. The question is principal.
I think I'll be happy both ways, no matter who wins.

Exactly. Lakers, but not by a blow-out. Maybe by 8 or 9.
