Lakers eFG% on jumpshots

Just looked up the eFG% (effective fg%, which adjusts for 3pters being worth more) for each of the Lakers (top 10 in minutes, so not counting the rookies and random old dudes) and made a lil graph, cuz I felt like it. Might as well post.

I'm sure though just by watching games, we could tell who the worst are.

being a scientist, i must say this graph was poorly thought out.
1. this isn't a changing variable vs time and you can't use a line graph, it needs to be a bar graph
2. the y-axis needs to start from 0% and labelled (ie. eFG%)
3. the x-axis needs a label (ie. player)
i hope i'm not being an ass, this is constructive criticism

if he followed your advice on point 2, all the points would look relatively the same.

i also teach students and mark their reports at university and id fail this graph instantly
and it wouldnt look relatively the same, the bars would look a lot more like each other and wouldnt look as evidently different.

whipped this up in a minute cos research is boring and im procrastinating
you cant tell me this looks as dramatic as OPs graph

and pau gets a pass for shooting 42.8% eFG?
pray tell; why so arbitrary?
(also; some heads are longer than others: MISLEADING!)

Our jumpshots have been spotty at best this year. That why i would like to see brown , fisher drive to the hole more and dump it off to pau and bynum then take some random 3pointer that's not in rhythm..

haha, i don't think anyone's trying to get a grade here.
personally like the 1st one better. starting at 37% makes the differences among the players more clear instead of them getting bunched up near the top. also helps that their exact percentage is inserted.

Would you fail the person if they didn't list the names in alphabetical order, or that doesn't really matter?
If it doesn't matter, than I think it should go from greatest to least, or the other way around. So we can process the graph more efficiently, Prof.

Barnes' is in a Magic uniform, not a Laker one. Please re-do the graph.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention I listed them by positions, PG to C. So you can see the bigmen next to each other and the guards next to each other.
And yea, I apologize to those who I've offended (Aki) for not labeling my graph. I coulda sworn I wasn't in school this qtr.
And Simoun, damn ESPN doesn't upgrade the pics much

Get offended. All Graphs are fail. This should be from 35% to 50% only since NOBODY shoots below that. And 30 % = hot garbage Rodman to 50% Reggie Miller. The bar graph doesn't show how much a failure of a jumpshooter Luke is.
<3 YOU ALL.
