OT: Sasha Has Game Of His Life

Post#1 » by Mamba Venom » Thu Feb 10, 2011 2:14 am

Sasha is 7-9 from the field, 4-4 from downtown 20 points in the 4th.

He didn't miss a shot until he realized he wasn't at practice anymore.

Machine was Kobe's BFF then machine broke now machine fixed but where Kobe? Machine is ready for play-offs. Trade back for machine Mitch.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

He puts up huge stats on a bad team. so does farmar. the nets aren't doing any better with them since the trade. they are just empty stats on a bad team.

we cut our losses too early.

we couldve used his expiring to make contracts work in a melo/nene deal

He had zero playing time, showing some highlights means nothing. Aki could be right though. Not about the melo thing, but expirings in general

Mitch screwed up...

He had value. But he dumped him for nothing in return. Bad deal. But that's what Mitch do.

This was more about freeing up money than about Sasha. A few of us on this board always felt like he would have been a better contributer with more PT.

Sasha is playing with no pressure right now... Good for him but he was just turrible for us 99.8% of the time.

Also, you'll find he drastically steps up his game in contract situations.

Um, Sasha is legit. He singlehandedly beat the Celtics with those clutch freethrows that brought the Lakers franchise their 16th Championship. Now he's singlehandedly DESTROYING opposing teams. We could've used him to get Carmelo!! WTF are u doing Mitch!!

I agree, to an extent. Farmer hasn't been nearly as effective or productive as a Net as Vujacic has.

That said, isn't Kevin Love doing the same thing, according to you?

He hasn't started a single game as a Net...

good for him, I hope he makes a team next year, didn't think he would last after this season....but pressure to be perfect here was to much for him....in NJ he has no expectations to perform so he just goes in the F it mentality I"m gona get mine, so now he succeeding at bombing away....would've never gotten away with that that type of mentality here.
