I know its boring but there's not another game until tomorrow so I just thought i'd give us something to break the staleness.

Mine is our defense. We seem to have started playing championship type defense. Hopefully this will continue.

defense and up until last game the inside-out style of offense.

I think they finally turned the proverbial switch on. Artest is finally back to his old defensive self, Gasol's scream has gotten louder, Kobe's regained his young "#8" legs back, and Phil is in full time troll mode.. these are all good signs I say.

On the other hand, anyone notice something weird? After the All-Star Break:

- Melo and D-Will got traded
- K-Perk will have MRI on knee
- Tony Parker will miss 2-4 weeks
- Durant sprains his ankle
-.... and MATT freakin BARNES is coming back!

Well its that hour, if they dont make a push now in the latter part of the season you just cant expect to walk in the playoffs and turn the switch on. Having as much success as they have had its no surprise the boys have been half assing it all year, which is one of the main reasons that makes a dynasty so impossible.

But as previous 3 peats have shown you need two key ingredients : a crazy competitor such as an MJ
& an overwhelming amount of talent such as the the previous 3 peat Shaq Kobe team had

Luckily for us, we've got both.

The defensive beast that is andrew bynum started showing up. Phil actually coaching calling timeouts holding the clip board standing up.

seen longer win streaks than this....who have we beeaten really after the allstar break?? perkin-less okc? a rehabilitated bradon roy blazers? a mentally challenged hawks? the real deal starts after tomorrow's game....i wont even count the bobcats, just give em the W cuz they seem to be the lakers' kryptonite....i wont even count the spurs either cuz parker is not playin...only lookin forward to dallas n miami

Honestly I thought we could of used a three point threat from the wavier wire like Rasual Butler, but like always we'll just have to do with our post scoring and Kobe.

I love that we're playing defense and giving a damn about games even when the teams are inferior to us.

Well before the break we would have gotten blown out by all those teams. The fact that they're winning games they are supposed to win is a very good sign.

Good point. Plus the topic was not about the win streak. It was about improvements since the break.
