What would you like to see Bynum add to his offensive game?

I think that if Bynum continues to excel at rebounding and defense, there really isn't much offense that we need from him, considering that we can get that from Kobe/Pau and our other auxiliary players, but after watching Dwight Howard this year, I think it would be pretty cool to see Bynum add some pieces to his offense, as well.
Considering he's a pretty decent free throw shooter, I think that maybe a 10 foot jump shot could be realistic and effective, by spacing the floor and allowing Pau to occupy the area near the basket; I also think that an 8-10 foot bank shot (like we've been seeing from Dwight) seems like something he could add - I feel this is reasonable considering he is often taller than his defender. As far as his posting up, I think that he already does pretty well, considering his strength and height, although there are certainly more things he could learn, and things he could improve on there also.
Any thoughts?

Not be so much of a blackhole. He has been a lot better this season, but there still are times where he needs to pass the ball out instead of forcing something out.
As far as skillset go, it would be nice to see him get a consistent skyhook and maybe even a face up game like Dwight this season.

Really? THe thing I dislike the most about Bynum is when he catches the ball in the low block and pass it back...

to breakdown double teams better, he passes it back out as soon as he double teams and doesn't give enough space/time for the shooter to get the shot off. I think if he learns how to breakdown doubleteams better, he could be just as effective as Pau i n setting others up. As far as offense goes, I guess a better jumpshot thats bout it.

I don't want him to develop a jumper, Pau has one and he settles for it way too often. I like his back to the basket style, there's not enough centers in the NBA that have a B2B type game.

Honestly I don't think it matters too much if he improves his offense game for THIS year. For the future, I would love for him to have a face up to open things up for this back to the basket game. More attacking the basket instead of hook shots etc..
But we've seen Drew play good offense, and our team was very effective, but it wasn't until he started playing All Nba level defense that he showed his true impact. I'm fine with him focusing only on D, but ofcourse it would be awesome to see him take over games when he's in with the second unit.

Pau's J is wet but i feel he does settle for it to much, so i think if Drew develops a jumper he might go to it more often then needed

I don't think drew would settle for the J nearly as much as pau does, he's just tougher than pau is in general the j would make it that much tougher for opponents to guard him.

Opportunities. He needs more touches. 12-15 shots a game minimum.

drew is 5th on the team in FGA attempts behind the obvious, but also SHANNON BROWN. shannon should be on about 6.0 FGA per game not 8.0. that would give drew about 2 more shots a game and be at 10.0 FGA per game, which is about right.
anything more than that is pushing it. most of his buckets come off the scraps, and being setup by kobe, pau, lamar, etc...
no need for him to be a bigger part of the offense when you have guys who are more capable/dangerous.

Right now, nothing. Way, way, way more than touches and shots, I want to see him continue to inhale rebounds and challenge shots and control the paint defensively. When his priorities are right, we're a different ballclub.

+1, I want Drew to focus on the defensive end because when he has control of the paint we are a very hard team to beat

A more consistant offense would be nice. He is not effective unless, he is really close to the basket. He needs like a jumper or a running hook, or needs to learn to dunk behind the rim too.

a drop step. when the basket is over his left shoulder for example, turn hard to his right, and drop step hard back to his left, then overpower the defender and bank it right on in with his right hand. SHAQ got tons of points with this move. now bynum is NOT shaq, but he has length and width enough that he could smother the defender and go right over him. what SHAQ would do is ram the ball down the other guys throat for 2. but with bynum, a solid close in bank shot would suffice.

A quick seal under the basket or close to the basket. Gotta take advantage of that huge body!...Shaq was good at this, it was almost an automatic score or a foul when he gets the ball. I remember Kwame was good at this too, though too bad he can't even catch the ball to finish the play.
