Agree with the suspension. Lamarcus Aldridge is about to have a field day tonight.

No big deal. I welcome the attitude, he's taken into that "No one is going to mess in my yard" thing pretty seriously.

So that's what he needs to do to get his point across?

He doesn't have to injure someone but he can take a hard foul. Its a physical game played at high speed, bad things can happen.
I hope Beasley doesn't miss any games but at the same time its part of the maturing process for a young center.

Not complaining, although I think that one game would be fair. Too bad Mitch wasn't able to sign any bigs from the Waiver Wire, as we're going to be finding out how thin our front court is.

I wonder what beasly did to piss off bynum so bad, probably talkin mad **** before he got laid out.
2 games is fair for that kind of foul, itlll rest his knees and for the first time not out on company pay.
this is gonna end up costing him 275K... damn son

I understand why it's two games after watching it again and again. He clearly put his shoulder into a guys chest while he was in mid air and then push him off using his forearm. That's a statement though to everyone going in on Bynum, watch out. I like the physicalness. I like how Odom just towered over him too and Barnes did all the talking. I love how Artest didn't get in there.

Seems like a fair suspension. Hopefully we don't lose any games as a result. We have no backup at center and Kobe is playing like complete ass, so this could be costly for us in terms of playoff seeding.
But yeah, Bynum, Odom, and Barnes showed the world how hard they are.

No, I think he got tangled up with Pekovic the play before and took it out on Beasley.
Beasley might have been talking some trash throughout, but so were Odom, Barnes, and Artest. There's just no excuse for committing a foul like that, and I guarantee if it happened to Kobe we'd be calling for some heads around here instead of talking about sending messages. I don't mind hard fouls one bit, but that was a cheap shot. If you're going to commit a hard foul at least go for the ball and follow through with significant contact. You don't do it by putting your elbow in someone's chest while they are in mid air.
