He is definitely what the Lakers need. Sometimes you have to have a enforcer in the line up for the cheap shot that was given to Steve Blake. If this had been done by Ron Ron it would have been a complete meltdown from the officials. Thank You for sticking up for your team mate.

I can't remember such a complete game from our team. From all of the players . Odom seemed to set the tone for the second half. Great Game.......

Barnes is an idiot; his actions cost the team 3 suspensions and breaks the winning ways of this line-up. No need to be the 3rd man in. Explains why Barnes has been passed around the league like a rugby queen. There was no need for his actions; Blake was fine and Terry would have gotten a longer suspension without the Barnes theatrics. Barnes is in the same catagory as the bonehead fan that rushed the Mav bench.

3 suspension? You hear from the league front office already? Even if he's suspended, 1 gm isn't going to kill the team

If there is going to be a suspension, It won't be three people it will be only Matt. Yes I think it was good for the team. I'd rather it be Matt than Lamar, Ron Ron, or any starter..... You don't want your starters getting involved thats why you go out and get a Matt Barnes to take one for the team. He is someone that knows his role and plays it very well. we didn't have that in 08. That is why Boston kicked our butts off the court. This has become a trend in this league. You better get some enforcers to protect your main players. Hell look what Oklahoma has traded for (Perkins) because he brings a mentality to the line up. If you ask the players tonight about Matt , they are already thanking him check it out on NBA TV or ESPN. He brings a dimension that we need. It prevents that kind of stuff from happening as often.
