Why even try last 2mins of games?

I find it amusing to see the Lakers coast throughout the first 46 min and all of a sudden go turbo mode in the last two minutes of a game and start playing like it's an actual game.
If you want to take the first 46 min off, just lay down for the last two also.

lol I was thinking the exact same thing.
Maybe they start "trying" in those last 2 minutes because they realize that they're in such a bigass hole that they just want to make the game seem closer than it really is by not losing by so much damn points. But who knows. All I know is that **** is just annoying and flat out embarrassing.

I agree about making it look competitive. They want the 2 or 3 seed.

its also more about the other team slacking off, making it look like the lakers are playing harder...but i know what u mean
