why does phil take out bynum when bynum is playing well to put in a soft/uninterested pau gasol?...i mean as soon as pau replaces bynum the opposing teams score at will inside....oh and whatsup with him keeping shannon brown in to replace kobe during close 4th qt games?.....why does he give luke walton minutes?....did phil not care about the seeding during this losing stretch?....i'm interested in seeing what this trey johnson guy can do as well.....but i know phil won't play him.....he has a shannon brown/luke walton love fest....he'll probably play luke at the point and we will all have to witness a masacre.....

Phil likes Lamar better in the clutch. The team is quicker and better spaced with Odom. This allows Kobe to go 1v1 in the clutch better.

At this point in their respective careers, Pau Gasol is the overall more dependable and versatile choice
(and 2006 FIBA World Championship MVP.) Give Bynum a couple of years, and it
may reverse if his knees hold: Bynum will be ~26, Pau 33 or so. We are lucky to have both...
Too many questions for one post...

Kevin Ding brought this up a few days ago (
