I wish Kobe had been looking at Walten when he said F****** F*****. Why he is still a Lakr, i have no idea. He is a FREAK and should not be in the NBA.

honestly I hate Luke the player not the person but if I were Walton I would do the same thing, why retire or take a buy out? Its pretty evident that if he were bought out NO other team out there would sign his sorry arse and if he retired he'll get the money but lose 2 yrs of FREE front row laker games and possibly adding more jewlery to his colleciton....so with that said would you retire if you were Walton? lol

His expiring contract will prove to be very useful. Thats the only upside to his presence on this team.

it's still a ways off to reap that benefit and I wouldn't be surprised if the new CBA led to either nulling out our advantage or an opportunity to shed bad contracts as a one time caveat.

Damn you're right. I thought his contract was expiring next season but it turns out its the season after next >_> I'm not willing to keep him for another season and have him hold our cap space hostage so hopefully you're right and we can just waive him off for no penalty. We may actually be able to do what has seemed to be a dream for so long.......actually have a bench that doesn't suck. (Outside of L.O. of course)

I'll take just $3 mil - 1/2 of his pay to turn the ball over, airball open looks, dribble awkwardly into the lane to not even get a shot up, stand in the high post and have defenders guard off me because I have zero offensive threat.

Oh I can foul unnecessarily and back to back too...

Im calling it now - if Phil Jackson does retire at the end of this season Walton will be traded to Minni to teach Kurt's young bucks about the triangle, then the'll both be fired together. book it.

Does anyone else cringe when Puke Walton shoots? You anticipate it's either an (a)airball or (b)brick

HAHAHHAHA yes it is although i think herpes would be less irratable and I would be happy to keep it in comparison!! I dont know, Im a woman and from Cape Town South Africa, I started watching basket ball when i came to the USA 10yrs ago and the Lakers were my initiation. So now I am a die hard Laker fan. Unfortunately the game is ruined for me the moment i see Walton, I can always expect a turn over,or him shooting 3 pointers with 19 seconds left on the clock. seriously how many bricks can he throw. His name should become FLUKE WALTON. It's a FLUKE he is in the NBA really! I prey he is traded when Phil retires!!

welcome to the board, it is always nice to have a fellow fan from the opposite sex around here to keep us in check. I can already tell you that your opinions will be respected since you don't seem to be mesmerized by Luke's good looks (that's how he fools everyone into tolerating him on the team....pause!) and are keeping it real.
