SERIES RECAP:
The Lakers won Game 2 87-78 behind 17 points and 11 rebounds from Andrew Bynum tying the series at 1 game each heading to New Orleans. The Lakers used Kobe Bryant to slow Chris Paul, holding him to 20 points. Look for the Hornets to try to push tempo at home. The Lakers must get off to a solid start to silence the home crowd.

pound the ball inside to bynum..work inside out...and you'll end up with an easy win

i think that the key is the first 5 minutes of the game. the crowd is inevitably going to be raucous so the lakers have to match that energy.. play good fundamental ball/some inside out and get out to an early lead. that will suck the life out of the crowd and the hornets.

Would love to see the Lakers go up 3-1 over the weekend

freaking going to miss this game too, makes two in a row. that's what i get for scheduling stuff before the lakers playoff schedule is out. dammit.

Had tickets for sunday, but relatives decided to come to town so we had to sell them and find some more at the last minute

Play like you know you can. set the flow of the game. Do not be so timid. Take it to them. Score points and then play defense. Do not sit on the ball and hope 87 will win you a game. Play like champs.

I"m gonna miss this too, gonna be at san pedro at the Railroad Revival tour. I'll be checkin the score every chance i get though.

Lakers need to come out HUNGRY like they usualy do on the road in the playoffs. I really expect lakers to control the glass, it's going to be a must on the road when their shots will be falling more.

Lakers definitely need to come out strong early and don't let up. Keep the crowd out of it early and often to avoid giving any confidence to NO.

Bryant just needs to do what he did Game 2, don't hog the ball and try his best to shut down Paul. If his shots are falling then great but the minute he starts going commando is the second we will be in trouble. Give the ball to Bynum and let him score or draw fouls on the Hornets bigs, Gasol needs to wake up and be prepared to play because while we could win this series without him the series would be much shorter if he impacted the game. Let Artest contain Ariza and Odom do Odom and we should be 2-1.

I don't think my heart could take another OT playoff game. I liked how we showed 4 different defenders against C.Paul, keep him on his toes.
I have a feeling that Bynum has reawaken, and will be a BEAST this game.

Really HUGE game today. I feel that if we can get game 3 and 4, we'll be sending a message that we don't care where we play, that we're willing and able to beat your team anywhere. We will need Gasol and Bynum to dominate - Whoever controls the paint (i.e. rebounds and points in the paint) will win the game.
