My 2nd favorite player is Chris Paul.

I shout "SHAQUILLE!!!" after making a basket against smaller players/small kids.

Paul Pierce was also one of my favorite players before 08.

Those Sacramento Kings teams with Christie and Webber and Bibby and Vlade and Turkoglu and Stojakovic and Pollard and Bobby Jackson and Wallace were more enjoyable to watch (from a pure basketball standpoint than our championship teams of the same time period).

Kobe cost us the Finals in '04
Gasol reminds me of Wrigley's Juicy fruit
Kloe is smashable
Ray Allen is tolerable
I like the Celtics style of play
Celtics were flat out better in '08
Jordan is the GOAT
Shannon isn't that bad
Some Lakers fans act spoiled
Kings were cheated of a title
Kareem Rush had a cool first name
I saw greatness in Brian Cook
Gonna cry like Nash when Kobe retires
I blame Kobe for blowing that 3-1 series lead
Nowitizki is a fantastic player
I set the volume on my TV to 24 when watching Laker games
Girl Laker fans are the hottest
I stopped watching Matt Damon movies after '08
PA announcer's dull voice at Staples sets the mood for a dull crowd

glen rice was my favorite laker of all time
if kobe wasnt on the lakers the only thing i'd cherish is his desire to win and thats it.
kevin garnett was my favorite player ever until he became cocky, i dont mind him joining the celtics though.
jordan>>kobe
phil jackson's rotations annoy me
i want deron williams on the lakers
staples center has the worst crowd in sports history
kobe is not the nba's best player anymore
im jealous of andrew bynum because he's younger than me and already made more money than me, my parents, and my kids will ever make....combined
i thought devean george was the next shawn marion
the kings were robbed.
the celtics are still better than the lakers, even last year...luck was just on our side.
jeanie buss is a milf, and im a milf hunter.

I think Ray Allen is the best shooter in the past 20 years.
I'd like to be a KG type of a NBA player.
Brandon Roy is my favourite player after Kobe, Andrew and Lamar.
Kobe is so damn selfish.
When Kobe makes that face after scoring a basket and one makes me feel embarassed as a Laker fan.

:D

I used to like Paul Pierce when the Celtics sucked.
My second favorite team is Philly.
If the Lakers don't win it, I want OKC to win it.
Dwyane Wade was my second favorite player, now I don't have one.

I cried when we lost the Finals in '08
I still haven't forgiven Odom for not boxing out and getting the rebound that lead to Tim Thomas's 3 pointer, (we were up 3-2)
It's cleared no one had the balls to shoot the ball in '97 against Utah when Kobe airballed, I've forgiven him.
I want Shannon off this team.
Shaq's #34 should be retired in the rafters.
I still hate the Kings.
^ I admit Game 6 was rigged 8-)

I think Kobe Bryant and Dirk Nowitzki are the only legitimate superstar talents in the NBA.

Ever since Shaq left the Lakers I never really liked Kobe AS A PERSON.
I still have not forgiven Kobe for snitchin on Shaq when he was in his situation
I will never forgive Mitch for giving Luke Walton that crazy contract
If Odom had the work ethic of Kobe he would of been a HOFamer
Kevin Garnett plays the game the right way. It's okay to not have friends in the NBA.
I would of traded Bynum for Melo
I love the Celtics style of play.

Back in the day, I liked T-Mac and AI A LOOOOOOT more than Kobe.

I still regret the lakers never getting KG.

Kobe is the 2nd GOAT guard. Sorry magic.

Oh I also would have traded melo for Bynum. Still would.

The funnest time I had as a Laker fan watching games was when we were average during the Nick the Quick, Ceballos, and Eddie J era, I never knew what to expect.

I grew up watching Jordan and to me Kobe > Jordan

I still believe we got jobbed by the refs in 08 game 2

I think game 6 in 02 was a response to Shaq getting jobbed in game 5

I still think if you replay the 04 finals 5 more times, we win at least 3, prolly 4

I think Kobe gets too much blame for that loss, not that he doesn't deserve a lot, but I still think Shaq's laziness was just as bad along with Malone and GP getting used.

I think Steve Nash would be better then Kobe if he had the size/body

I would take Dirk over Pau in a heartbeat

I think if Shaq had a true work ethic and killer instinct, he would have been the GOAT hands down, he was so amazing his first couple years but never developed. I partially blame the way the league started to ref him though...

On my alltime Goat list, I always put guards above centers, to me they will always be 'better' players

I respect Ray Allen and the Celts style

I hate Phil's in game adjustments and last minute plays. I wish he would draw up a true play once and a while Popovich/Rivers style

I'd rather Kobe shoot 40 shots then have other guys launching long jumpers.

I thought Kobe would be able to reach Jordan status, until 2004. And then it got confirmed in 06, then for some reason I thought he could come back to GOAT-ness in 08 but again it got confirmed.

A lot of Lakers fans say the only Celtic they have any respect for is Ray Allen.. I haven't liked him since he talked **** about Kobe back in 05.

I'm starting to admire the Heat. This happened yesterday. I still despise them.

Celtics chemistry was a thing of beauty til the trade.

A lot of "Lakers fans" embarrass me and are straight up idiots.

I yell at Ron Artest all the time, cringe when he does anything on offense. But these last few games it's been a lot better.

For some reason back during the Kings/Lakers days, I liked Bobby Jackson and Gerald Wallace. I just liked the fire Bobby brought and thought Gerald should have gotten more playing time. Now looking back, I have a lot of respect for C-Webb as a person and player and Bibby's clutch. Vlade by that time was whatever, don't care for Peja, and I **** forever will hate Christie.

Kobe is overrated these days. He's a top 3-5 player in the league, but not the best. His defense is overrated, his clutch is overrated, and I've never seen an elite player have so many bad games all the time.. but he's still my favorite player in the league.

I hate the scowl, it's fake. I looove when Kobe is really mad and yells or tries to rip off his jersey after a sick play or and1 at the end of the game... no scowl.

I teared up after game 4 in 08, and after game 5 in 09.

I hate all the Celtics but they're sooo good.

I think Luke Walton is gay.

I liked Sasha. I used to be called the Machine in freshman year (07-08). I have a Sasha #18 shirt (those jersey style shirts).

I spend way too much on the Lakers, I sorta got let go of my previous job due to the Lakers.

I can't watch a game really if the score is spoiled.

I wear Lakers apparel every day and only days when the Lakers play.

Lebron is **** incredible. But I stopped defending him after the decision and after everyone can finally see the type of person he is.

Reading the transcript of what Kobe said to the detectives after the rape **** was... weird.

I cried when I got wind of the news that Magic was HIV-positive and retiring. I remember it clear -- my mom called me at work (in high school -- worked at a yogurt shop) and told me, and I went straight to my boss and told him I was ill and had to leave immediately. Wept like a girl on the bus ride home. I was looking so forward to getting some redemption against Jordan's Bulls, but it wasn't to be. I pretty much stopped following the Lakers for a few years after that (until Shaq came to town) -- partially because I had other obligations, but largely because the Lakers without Magic were hard to stomach.

Started really disliking Shaq back in early 2003 before we got bounced by the Spurs, and downright hated him after he left. Still, I would have welcomed him back to finish his career here.

Have developed somewhat of a dislike for Kobe the past couple of seasons, but it won't be full blown until he costs us a title.

While Kobe's probably the best "clutch" player of our generation (in the playoffs, mind you), I think he's somewhat overrated. He's a great crunch time performer in general, but he's taken some horrible game-winning attempts that have caused his overal percentage to be crap.

Kobe's decision-making is horrible compared to other greats, with exception to perhaps Wilt. See above.

Kobe is not really in Jordan's league. For a while I thought he might get there, but that definitely changed in 2004 when he had an absolutely terrible all around season. 2005 wasn't much better.

I had a soft spot for Kwame, and still do.

Farmar was OK in my book as well. We never really utilized him properly, and playing behind Fisher must be really demoralizing.

I complain too damn much. It's in my DNA, apparently.

I think the lakers title last year was more impressive than any of the first 3-peat.

I hate Michael Jordan, almost entirely because of his fans. And this started while I was a Kobe hater.

kobe get's me frustrated with his overshooting....but then i feel dumb when he hits the shots that tie/win us games......
mj is probably better....
lakers play with no heart....
pau gasol lack of aggression and shannon brown's basketball iq/abilities are the reason we are beatable....
every laker knows that pau is softer than my toilet tissue...they just don't say it because he will probably cry ....
i'd rather have kg than pau....
i think bynum is better than pau.....
ron artest is one of my fave lakers of all time and is better than ariza....
shannon brown is muff cabbage
i think paul pierce is better than lebron and dwade and deserves more credit...
melo is better offensively than lebron
i don't know i we get out of round 1 or 2 alive......
this team is the most talented, but lazy teams i have ever witnessed....

Wow my type of thread anyway.......

I still think any of my 80's Laker teams would mop all 5 championship team's we've had under Phil
I hate the Celtics more than the Spurs
I saw my homie grab Paula Abdul's ass when see was a Laker Girl, yeah we got to the floor !
Got drunk as hell coming out the Forum Club, couldn't find the ride !
Was ready to see Kobe and Shaq leave after the mess in 2004, wanted both gone

I hate the Triangle offense.
I'm nervous about the future of the Lakers after this season.
Kobe is the reason I fell in the love with the game of basketball.
I hate our away jerseys.
I love Kobe's passion, competitiveness, drive, and skill, but dislike his shot selection and ability to consistently trust his teammates.
I used to dislike Mitch Kupchak, but over time grew faith in him.
I hated when Kobe switched jersey numbers.
I don't like Shannon Brown.
I wish Pau Gasol spent more time in the weight room.
I give Pau grief on his rebounding numbers, but only when I forget how many backtaps he creates.

-sactown got jobbed in 02, they were an absolute great all around team to watch from a pure basketball perspective
-i dont like our home whites
-if shaq treated kobe with half the respect he'd given wade when turning over the reigns, we could've had a dynasty close to the bulls
-we win despite being on the recieving end of shoddy reffing and shannon brown
-mavs in 06 and suns in 07 both got jobbed, as did the bucks in 01
-kobe is easily the least protected superstar by the refs, but his shot selection and whining leaves more to be desired
-wade is the difference maker on miami, moreso than lbj even
-duncan is a center masquerading as a power forward
-pippen doesnt get enough respect
-cp3 is the best pg in the league
-we somehow won all our series last yr despite being matched up against westbrook, deron, nash, and rondo in consecutive series
-if kings leave sactown, it'll be real injustice to arguably the most loyal fans in the league

- Kobe is better this year than he was last year
- Lamar and Andrew are finally making good on the reputation that others have on them
- The Lakers were very fortunate not to face the Cavs in the Finals
- Would've went to the Finals in 05-06 if we finished off the Suns in Game 6
- Got lucky last year with the Playoff matchups
- Kobe can still be the best player in the NBA during the Playoffs
- Always hated Sasha, even during his single good season
- Think the Lakers should look to get Kwame back this offseason
- Kobe's shot questionable shot selection reputation is more accurate this year than in recent years
- Kobe will never reach Jordan's level, just isn't as good
- This year's team is better than last year's and possibly better than the '09 one
