MOTIVATION PICK UP
Is this it ?
The ride has been long yet rewarding, hard at times turbulent in others. At the same time our road wasn't easy, from 2004 to 2007 we suffered, was laughed at, clowned and berated.....yet we stood and faced it head on. We believed in our teams during that time when in reality we knew we weren't really there. Pat Riley once said while he was coaching the Lakers, " You have to have some scars before win can enjoy winning it all".

We've taken those scars and turned them into diamonds, took those scars and use them as our fury, as our fuel. For every scar we took we promised to inflict it back in the worst way......and we did. We unleashed that pain on everything in our path. In the end it made us CHAMPIONS, and champs don't die easy. Now we must dig, claw, scratch, kick and swing at everything in our way again. We're in a fight for our lives, it's no tomorrow. The time is NOW, now is the time to pull together and fight.

We've been wounded but we're still breathing and we're not out. And if we must go, go hard and give everything we got.

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
Sun Tzu

Start Kobe at the 3 and brown at the 2!

For alll i care start Odom at the 4 as well, and use Joe smith as the backup.

I'll fess up........I haven't watched the past two games. I take full responsibility for these losses. But rest assured, from here on out, when the Lakers play, my eyes will be glued to the screen. With that in mind, we got this! :D

Friday can't come fast enough. I want to see how this team responds to being down 2-0 and playing on the road

No way you can start Kobe & Shannon all that will happen is jump shot after jump shot & we will be down by 15 by halftime.

Plus switching up your starting line up is pretty much admitting defeat.

I'll probably be on my way to Houston and miss the game, so good luck. At this point I just don't want to get swept, so it would be nice if we could muster up enough enthusiasm to at least win a game.

Our body language in the 4th quarter of last nights game was very telling though. This team looks like it's given up. Pau seemed deeply effected by the boos (saw him mocking fans during one of his FT's), and Bynum is already talking about trust issues which leads me to believe there's some internal bickering that we probably don't even know about.

Our shooting can't get any worse, but there's no real reason to expect it to get much better considering our bench is even worse on the road.

Kobe needs to speak up at this point. Last year when our backs were up against the wall against the Celtics he went into the locker room and gave a speech that had everyone fired up for Game 6 (more like got into some asses), and the result was that we demolished the Celtics. That's what leaders do. We're looking very deflated and have little confidence, and it's his job to motivate some of these guys and make sure that they bring it in Game 3. That's no small task because I sincerely think this team is burned out, but it's a lot better than him mean-mugging players on the court or giving the silent treatment.

Lakers can't go out like this after Mark Cuban was talking all that smack before the start of the playoffs.

Breathe easy fellas....I'm not gonna come with the classic cliches, we just gotta play to our strengths and we'll be ok. I will be in OKC on Friday but my presence one the board will be felt...trust me my mojo won't let us down. Don't be nervous, face your worries head on. We've been here before.

Ask yourselves...why not us?

If we lose this game IMO it's honestly on Phil Jackson for not making adjustments. We had the personal to abuse many matchups against this team but I think we need to shift focus on Lamar, andrew and Kobe.
