poor drew....just when he's healthy and playin strong in the playoffs for the first time, he gets a broom in his face.....i can see why he was showing emotion against dallas
i hope this embarrasing loss will once again trigger another great stretches of finals appearances
and say NO to the lockout

Neither Drew's nor Odom's foul was ejection material .... the NBA is way to soft now. Ron deserved an ejection and suspension, but Odom and Drew just deserved fouls and techs, not ejections and definitely not suspensions.

Bad decision by Drew, but good to see him emerging as a dominant big man. He is LA's future.

So is this a thread about Andrew Bynum, his foul, the sweep, the off-season or the lock-out?

That not only deserved an ejection, but people are talking about suspensions for the beginning of next year.

This is the third time Bynum has pulled such garbage. Of course he should be suspended. Fouling a guy that is 100 pounds lighter while he is mid-air is a terrible choice

It was ejection material under the circumstances. They were clearly pissed off that they were getting their asses handed to them and wanted to deliberately hit them. If it was a more competitive game it wouldn't be so bad but it was deliberate in this case. The game was gone--the last thing you want is a fight and someone getting seriously injured.

Good call by the refs.

I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of "Lakers should have traded Bynum for Melo sometime in the near future.

Odom's wasn't all that bad to me, that was just frustration against a player that was bigger than him. But Bynum's was low-class and flat out bush league against a player he's almost 3 times the size of. He knew he was gone before anybody did anything cause he made a b-line to the locker room and took off his jersey and everything. LOL
Hey look.......an early vacation.

Bynum's gonna definitely mature. This is one of those cases where a player is too young and too strong for his own good. It always puzzled me why Bynum continues these forearm body shoves on players that are clearly smaller than him. On one hand, its toughness, but cowardly. It must be frustrating playing next to Kobe and watching him shoot jumper after jumper and fading away in the fourth quarters.

Not only did he somehow manage to make one of the worst losses in Lakers history even more humiliating, he's going to get whacked with a healthy suspension to start next year. Five to 10 games, I'd bet. Just a stupid play all the way around. Especially by such a smart kid. Total lack of poise.
