The Logo Jerry West

I know nothing about how to run an organization, but I man on hearing the news about Jerry West taking ajob with the Warriors, I just seems crazy to hear that Jerry West is working somewhere else. To me he's a Laker for life and should be in LA at some capacity. When I look at him all I see is Lakers. Damn.......

He went off to work for Memphis before, so this is really nothing new. no big deal really, he has his place in Laker lore, for 50+ years.

I just wish he was more interested in working for the Lakers. Or the Lakers more interested in him working for us again.

I'd rather package up Shannon and Caracter with Luke and get Monta Ellis.

That's what the problem was .
An probably the main reason for his departure with no return.
Jerry West had a couple issues with Jim Buss supposedly.
Nonetheless, I think Mr. Clutch felt that what he did for the Lakers organization as a player and a GM was extraordinary.
Good for the NBA that he's spreading the wealth.

On the other hand, it seems as if we've been doing fine without him having a direct hand in the organization. He's better off saying something about Kobe to the media, then watching Kobe drop 40+ pts the next night.

Point was that OP was freaking out about West not being around LA when he's been in Memphis already.
