LA: The Best Ballers in America

I think it's pretty clear that in the current NBA, LA has the most ballers when it comes to shear depth. I mean from my high school alone (Westchester) there are three guys in the league with as many as six in the league at the same time over the last six years.
My question is: What city has had the most ballers over the last 25 years?
What city can truly lay claim to being the number one factory of quality NBA talent over the last 20 years or so?

Everything that I have seen and read suggest that the East Coat takes not on basketball but sports in general way more serious than people on the west cost.
Edit: Sorry I really couldnt answer the question

1. NYC
2. Chicago

ALL HAIL is right, if you eliminate non active players from the other cities list LA has more. For example Philly only has 5 active players on their list. Plus that list is not updated, just going off the top of my head they don't list.....Russell Westbrook, Arron Afflalo, James Harden, Demar Derozan, Brandon Jennings, Ryan Hollins, and Baron Davis. Plus those players I listed are key players to their teams future.
LA has produced more in the last decade, and the players are good players at that. So that list is irrelevant in my eyes.

More than NY? I find that somewhat hard to believe?

if they were included mj would be under north carolina and melo under d.c. since it goes my high school

, probably not the best way to do it.

Farmar went to my high school, and Nick Young went to the HS across the street from
where I lived.
Plus when you're looking at players historically and where they learned ball, you can't just use where they were born. Bill Russell wasn't born in california, but he moved here for HS and college, and really developed into the player he would become here, so he is a product of Cali basketball as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, but Kevin Loves family left Santa Monica 1 year after he was born, and lived in Oregon until he went to UCLA.

For current NBA players I would like to see a L.A vs Chicago battle.
Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Trevor Ariza VS Derrick Rose, Shannon Brown, and Dwyane Wade
Chicago tries to claim Kevin Garnett but he didn't move out there until his senior year in High School. (Born and raised in Greenville ,South Carolina)
An for Los Angeles lets not forget about Derrick Williams, Andre Miller, and Josh Childress.
Gilbert Arenas (Born in Tampa, Florida) and Paul Pierce (Born in Oakland,CA) was not born in Los Angeles but was raised most of their years living in Los Angeles.
Guess it's cancels each other out just like the Melo and KG situation.

You didn't go the HS across the street from where u lived? Was it a bad school?

Well, MJ
should be under North Carolina. He moved from NY just a short time after birth. I doubt much of his basketball foundation was laid crawling around his parent's living room floor:)

This thread is littered with players that have recently played college or high school ball in the southland, and the fact that they were also born here too. Find where New York has produced more in the last 5 years alone ?

yes, i agree about mj, i jsut don't think going off of where they went to high school is the best way. lots of players didn't grow up to where they eventually went to high school, primarily in more recent yrs. i'm thinking of basketball schools like oak hill that have a bunch of out of state stars go there.

Here's the thing Doc, the players listed earlier with the exception of somebody adding Kevin Love, all went to high school here, were born and raised here. But even Love has LA roots, his dad played at Morningside for Jim Harrick in the 70's. But he came to UCLA to play college ball. If we go on just basically where they attended high school then LA still trumps New York if we're talking recent players.
