With David Stern stating that if the union decertifies, ALL contracts will be voided and the entire season will be missed, that would mean that the 2012-13 Lakers roster would be all new folks ... my question is ... if you were the GM and had $61 mil to spend, how would you stack the roster?

Let's use 2011-12 salaries as our base, a $61 mil cap, no rookie contracts (for obvious reasons) and no rookies obviously ... you can use guys on rookie contracts but value accordingly ... for example John Wall would obviously get $12+mil, Blake Griffin would get $15+mil, etc ... and no Kobe nor his high $25+mil contract need be on the team (even though realistically he would be) .

LET'S SEE YOUR 12 MAN ROSTERS!

I thought it was 85 mil since the owners were being "generous" and gave each team a 2.5 million bonus added to the salary cap to sign players?

Well.. if there is a desertification there are no rules to play by and there really is no league to play.

eww! even with 300 mil to spend, i wouldn't want Lebron anywhere near P&G!
