http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/stor ... agency-cbaLakers have interest in both players.
also, matt barnes was open when asked about the rumors.
While Kupchak remained guarded with his answers, Lakers forward Matt Barnes was much more open when asked about the rumors surrounding his former teammate Howard.
"You know, I've been hearing Dwight. I've been hearing Baron [Davis]. I've been hearing stuff a lot lately," Barnes said. "I've talked to both of those guys and they want to be here, so we'll see what happens."

I'm cool with D. West, as long as he stays away from Kobe's mom

I would be THRILLED with Delonte West, I love that kids game!
McRoberts ... sign him up too ... a high flying, nice passing PF with a nasty streak!

I've been pretty high on West for years. He's an excellent defender and makes smart decisions on the court, but his off-court issues are definitely a concern.
I love that we're showing interest in Afflalo as well. He'd be a great addition.
The Lakers have interest in Delonte West, who played for coach Mike Brown in Cleveland and last played for Boston, as a potential fill-in at guard and also are keen on Indiana free agent Josh McRoberts, according to a source with knowledge of their thinking. ESPN.com's Marc Stein reported that Denver free-agent guard Arron Afflalo is also on the Lakers' radar.

McRoberts would be a luxury addition to your already long, athletic, skilled big men assortment
He'd fit right in, and West is a less athletic, more refined Shannon Brown
Doubt you'll get both, though

It dont matter if he plays center or not, remember Pau is the back up center. I think the Lakers are basically looking for a possible replacement for LO. Delonte West would be nice too.

West would take care of our off-guard problem. He's much better than anyone not named Kobe on the roster right now.
McRoberts is underrated and would be nice for a low price.
