Some have labeled this game as this "season’s first NBA game?" Why because all the hype and scouts that will be in the crowd. Celebs and NBA royalty will be in the house to see the talent at todays game. This will be a who's who of 1st rounders of the 2012 & 2013 NBA drafts. Some say these 2 will be the deepest drafts in a decade. Laker fans can enjoy the game but be careful not to drool to much.

ya know I dont have a prediction yet. But this draft is so hyped right now.

Ashton Gibbs and Nasir Robinson are looking like real NBA prospects. I hope Khem sticks around one more year.

Davis' eyebrow really bothers me.

Davis will fix that eyebrow with his first NBA Check.

Davis is a beast, a mix between a young D12 and KG ...

Mike K-G is a freak too ... mix between JR Smith and Grant Hill

Jones is a stud ... reminds me of an in-shape Toine Walker

Harrison ... reminds me of Derrick McKey for some reason ... I think he'll be much better though

McAdoo ... stud

Henson ... nothing special ... Ed Davis II

Marshall ... reincarnation of Mark Jackson

Teague and Zeller .. I'll pass

Yeah Teague is over rated and should stay all 4 years. More time in college has done wanders for Lamb and Jones.

I mean Teague isnt even up there with Farmar! Davis is the Next KG!

Zeller OMG I dunno this guy was awesome last year. But he has slowed down. I still see potential I think he is a legit 7 footer who can score and rebound, but if he cant play defense he is a luxury for most teams in the NBA.

I just wonder will the Lakers try to get some of this talent in this draft?

No one is going to trade their pick in this draft, especially to us.

Only way for us to get a lotto pick is to do our best impersonation of the semi-finals, except for the regular season.

Well this draft means alot of teams can start a rebuilding effort with youth and star player potential

Exactly, which means no one is going to trade their pick. Which means the Lakers have 0 chance of building for the future with names like Miller, McAdoo, Jones III, Sullinger, etc.

But there will still be some decent talent in the late 1st round. Probably talent that would've gone in the teens and high 20's of this past draft.
