Who will be in the starting 5? If the Lakers do not get Howard, and gave up both Odom and Gasol for Paul.

I'm sure some big will be signed. Give free agency a chance to play out.

I like Bynum, but I don't think Bynum, Paul, and Kobe get it done. If Howard comes, that's a whole different story.

We definitely need to get howard now, otherwise i'm not sure we can win with just this.

Miami will eat our food. Even if you think james and kobe are equal (james is probably ahead at this point in their careers), wade >>cp3 offensively and defensively and its not close.

bynum bosh are a wash, as bosh would certainly destroy any pf we have (do we even have one at this point) and bynum would be bette than miami's centre..

i am comparing with miami because i dont think anyone in the east can beat them. Chi is not there yet, rose needs help, we all saw that last year. Boston getting old, rondo not able to score hurts that team bad.

moral of the story.......we need howard badly!

I think Miami would even have a better supporting cast besides the big 3 with Battier, Haslem, Chalmers, etc if Lakers were left with Bynum/Kobe/Paul and the current roster.

I'm thinking we now need to approach Denver with DC and Metta or something for Al Harrington. He would get the open three all day with Paul running the show.
