Wednesday Kobe was talking trades — he said he expects the Lakers management will try to do something but refused to speculate on what — when reporters asked him who would be his ideal teammate of current players. Kobe went another direction than the Dwight Howard response most might have suggested. From ESPNLosAngeles.com.
“It’s a tough question because I’ve played with a lot of great players being on the Olympic team,” Bryant said. “I think that the player I would probably play with the most where the pieces would fit would be myself and LeBron [James], believe it or not, because he’s more of a facilitator and I’m more of a scorer. … He’s a modern version of what Oscar [Robertson] was. He just puts up genius numbers.”

Kobe and Lebron would be the best Duo of all time. Kobe would get so many open shots playing with lebron. Kobe would also be the one making plays in the 4th while Lebron watches.

To be honest, with all of LeBron's talents... who wouldn't want to be his teammate?
I think that people tend to overlook that and end up thinking about his persona.

LeBron is the 2nd best option in NBA history and he is not a 1st option w/ the Heat. He just isn't. That is why he left.

He's supposed to be the Heat's first option, it's just that it's "Wade's team". Lebron >> Wade. He defers to him way to much, and that's why Lebron isn't the best he can be (which is a top 5 player all time). He just needs help mentally.

Do you think management will try to move Pau for Carmelo to replace Kobe next year or when? LA could reign Melo in and Pau is getting old. That team would be sick I don't know why they didn't do it. Both teams get better.
