Do you think Kobe still has a chance to win reg. season MVP?

To me, I think that Lebron and Durant are way ahead of him at this point. I think he's probably top 5, but I don't think he's at the top. It sucks because at the beginning of the season, you could argue that he was actually a favorite - His points were way up there, and his efficiency was as well; Was also rebounding and assisting very well. Obviously, his play has tailed off by quite a bit lately. Besides that, you could argue that we lost some games because he shot us out of them, especially recently. Overall, I care much more about a championship and finals MVP, than regular season MVP, but I think it would be pretty cool for him to win another one at his older age, especially since he was snubbed in 2002-2003 and in 2005-2006.

Agreed... It's not even close... I don't even think the Knicks have to make the playoffs.
In fact, even if for whatever reason, Lin never plays another NBA game, he'll still win both 2012 Regular season and Finals MVP.

Does anyone here still care about MVP? If you can get 35ppg, 81 in a single game, 40ppg for the month of February, 40 in eight straight.. and not see the top three?? F*** that.

Scoring feat + Scoring feat + Scoring feat does guarantee you one thing at least, the scoring title.

This year it's going to Durant or CP3, without Lebron having a shot if media doesn't keep saying "Well he has Wade and they're supposed to win games".
