I honestly don't see much argument to Lebron being the best basketball player of all time from a purely, physical standpoint, which is what I think he was referring to. I don't see anyone beating LeBron 1 on 1.

there are so many variables in that argument. what I can say is that an argument can be made as far as the "probably" part of Wojos stament. not saying Lebron is better just that probably an argument can be made. for all of Lebrons natural gifts and talent he does lack that constant killer instinct that Kobe, Bird, Magic, and MJ have and although that doesn't show up in the stats it does diminish Lebron's argument as better than the others.

He is Dwight Howard in a slightly smaller body. Physical freaks and very powerful. From a purely physical standpoint - it's Shaq and it's not close.

From a one on one - no one is beating Kobe and MJ. That's what they do. They are one on one guys. Lebron is not. What you and Wojo said is absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know, looked to me like he nonchalantly suggested he was better than Jordan, which is something I've never seen a journalist do before. Personally, I don't think a serious argument can be made that he's better than MJ. Better ones can be made about Magic, Bird, et al (though I might disagree).

I just think Lebron's athleticism is off the charts. The only advantage Kobe and MJ have in one on one is being clutch, but I'm not sure if it would come down to that. Either way I think we can agree that Lebron is wasting his talent with that 15 year old brain and 21 year old ego of his.

a prime Kareem would school Lebron so easily. Don't see how Lebron gets a shot off on him. Lebron will just have to chuck three's all game long..

And a prime Shaq would probably hurt Kobe on his way to the rim, he'd probably back him down and dunk every time on his way to the win. Sure Kobe might drain a few shots but once Shaq had the ball it would be over.

Obviously a 7 foot, 300 lb player could beat Lebron, especially if he got the ball first, from the standpoint that he could just back down Lebron every time. Even then, I'm not convinced even Kareem would beat Lebron because Lebron is a big dude. I personally believe you're underrating James. I'm not even a fan of his in the slightest either.
