Lakers Post Trade Lineup

I am more than content with the Lakers trades today... Trading D Fish means no Beasley... We can’t send Blake to Portland with only one PG on the roster... We dumped Luke Walton’s $12 million over 2 years, Fishers $7 million over two years and Kapona’s $1.2 million... We picked up a solid starting PG in Sessions $4.2 million a year (two years), Jordan Hill at $2.8 million a year (young PF and the deal expires at the end of the year) as well as Eyenga who is a throw in with broken English ($1.1 million)... The Lakers starting lineup will be as follows:
PG: Blake (6’3”) & Sessions (6’3”)
SG: Kobe (6’6”) & Goud (6’4”)
SF: Ron Ron (6’7”) & Barnes (6’8”)
PF: Gasol (7’0”) & Hill (6’11”)
C: Bynum (7’1”) & Murphy (6’11”)
The Lakers may start Blake so Sessions could play with the second unit... Jordan Hill will be the back-up PF (can play some center as well) within a couple of weeks... We just got better, deeper and saved money... Nice work Mitch and let’s get ready for the playoffs...

I think Blake will start and get 12 mpg, while Sessions comes off the bench as the closing player.

What can Hill do that Mcbob can't?
No Beasley? Is it really over now?

Seriously....I really hope we didn't bring Sessions here to come off the bench for a below average Blake. Sessions> Blake

I doubt it since Mike Brown likes playing a stretch 4 with the 2nd unit, something Hill isn't

Beasley would've been nice, bench is still thin.

PG: Sessions/Blake
SG: KB/G-lock
SF: MWP/Barnes/Mcbob
PF: Gasol/Hill/Eyenga
C: Bynum/Hill
Not bad...but Michael Beasley would of put us over the top. I can't believe we are stuck with MW-Piece of crap starting...

Sessions can play the 2 if the shooting is poor. McBob is not the third SF. Ebanks is.

Eyenga is a SG, plays a little SF... but he's not a PF

Lots of people are sleeping on Eyenga. The dude isn't too bad, he isn't worse than artest on offense. Dude will help us off the bench.

Trading for Beasley woulda caused a lot of hype, but who knows if his attitude and a lack of a backup PG would of been worth it. (I still sort of wish it happened, but it would of been quite the risk).
Overall I'm very happy with what the Lakers did, they stayed way under the radar with these seemingly simple moves, but at the same time improved the defence tremendously. We got rid of a slow (but legendary) PG, and a couple of non-contributers.
Our starting PG can now keep up with the competition as well as create much more offensively than a clutch shot once every blue moon.
Eyenga is a solid energy guy, we may not end up using him at all but there's always a chance these kind of young, athletic, 2nd year players can find a way to contribute.
And lastly I like the addition of Jordan Hill as well, if he gets steady minutes I think he can develop a nice niche as the backup to Pau/Bynum.
With all these changes now we just need to develop better focus and have Metta make use of himself and we got a shot at another one. Legit

My bad, I thought he was taller than 6-7 I didn't do my homework on him, so my mistake.
