What happened to goudelock's minutes. Last i checked he was playing well off the bench, now mike brown refuses to play him. I understand ebanks' situation but AG was actually playing well.

He's not the same player at backup SG as he is at PG (you can guard him with larger players, it limits him). If he were to start for those first say seven minutes of the game and in the second half it would make a big difference for the starting unit.

He needs to backup Sessions at PG.

Amnesty Blake.

Start Sessions and Goudelock gets Blake back up pg minutes

Other way around. He'd be useless with that speed unit.

Yup, 7 min of Goudelock at Blake's spot, Sessions rest of halves.

Not at all, he'd get everyone easy shots. He'd still get plenty of run with the second unit, Goudelock would only get around 10 mpg at the point backing him up.

Edit: In all seriousness Blake will do much better playing minimal minutes back with the second unit, he is scared playing with the starters and gets exposed against starting caliber PGs.

Will Mike Brown is right not to play him because I don't think he can trust AG in the playoffs. There I said it.

nah that can't happen, sessions makes barnes a lot better. both like to run. sessions needs to come off the bench but take majority of the minutes.

Truth be told, Blake is playing poorly right now but it could be just a funk for him. If he hit a few of those open 3s we'd be talking about how the team has its rotations down perfectly.

I like the bench rotation of Blake (in the future)/Barnes/Murphy with Ron staying with the 2nd unit, gives us more size and defense. I like G-Lock but I don't think we can trust him in the playoffs.

Goudelock should and will be getting more playing time.

Barnes will get cold and Goudelock will get his chance again.

Goudelock will have a "game-changing" game in the playoffs.

If he could play with Blake consistently (Blake is too small to guard all SGs), he'd be a fixture in my rotation, getting over twenty minutes a game.

He had his advantage at PG. At SG he's simply overwhelmed. I'm not sure exactly how much better of a ball-handler Blake is than Goudelock.

I think Blake and Glock would work together if Blake could handle opposing team's SGs. Glock does seem overwhelmed at the 2.

I've seen Glock's average as a PG. While he can't create direct assists, he gets the ball moving and will nail his open shots. If he can get the ball down the floor safely and quickly (or at least better than Blake) he should start.

That's why I'm curious to see if they'd work together with Blake bringing the ball up and Glock defending the PGs. I still think SGs would guard Glock which makes it hard for him to operate. When he's outsized it really shows. The kid has a shot though and I think we should find a way to integrate his abilities.
